The lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone tender, cooked in a rich red wine sauce. The meat just melted, and the sauce had a deep, savoury flavour. Portion was generous too.

Lovely spot for lunch. The Cullen skink soup was very hearty and warming. I particularly enjoyed how comfortable the booths were - made it easy to relax and take my time. A nice, unhurried meal.

The food was fantastic, really well presented. I was impressed by their use of local ingredients. The wine list had some interesting local options that paired nicely with the modern Scottish dishes. A solid choice for a proper meal.

Love the lively canteen feel here. The menu's got loads to choose from, and everything we tried was spot on. Portions are generous for the price. It does get quite noisy inside, but that's part of the energy.

No reservation, but got a table quickly. Ordered on their app, super easy and fast. The portions were decent for the price, which is what I look for.

Good to see some solid vegan choices on the menu. The fire in the hearth really takes the edge off a chilly evening, makes it a cosy spot.

Really appreciated how accommodating the staff was for our group. They were so helpful with my questions about ingredients and dietary needs, which made ordering a lot easier. The service was genuinely warm and made the whole meal feel relaxed.

Stumbled upon this place while wandering around Stirling. The staff were friendly and the vibe was pretty cozy. Had a decent lunch here, though the service was a little on the slow side.

Service was decent and quick, even on a busy Friday night. They handled the rush pretty well. Booking ahead is definitely a good idea.

Dog-friendly spot with treats for our pup. Clean, airy inside. Had a gluten-free roll that was actually decent. Nice relaxed vibe for a quick stop in town centre.

The Scottish breakfast was cooked perfectly, and they accommodated our substitutions without any fuss.

Been coming here for years. The service is always spot on - friendly, not overbearing, and they remember you. That's what keeps me coming back.

Classic cheeseburger and a shake. The fries portion was huge, honestly couldn't finish them all. Good for sharing maybe.

The hot chocolate was so rich and creamy, a proper treat on a cold day. It's clearly a student favourite, the vibe is relaxed and cosy. The milkshakes looked great too, might try one next time.

The Mediterranean coffee here is solid. Good, strong flavour. The cakes and ice cream selection is decent, but I wish they did a frappe as well. Just something cold and blended would be perfect.

Loved the open kitchen here, you can watch the chefs work while you chat. The spicy meatballs were spot on. A nice find for a casual dinner with mates.

Really liked the vibe here, super welcoming. Grabbed a bite with a friend while we were out and about. It was nice to see a few dogs around too, made it feel relaxed. Good spot to take a break from exploring.

The stone-baked pizza was really good. Service was friendly too, though the place got a bit loud later on.

Dog-friendly, which is a win. Their house blend was decent, but the real find was a small-batch Colombian roast they had for sale. Bought a bag to take home. The beans are a bit pricier than my usual spot, but the flavour profile is interesting.

First time at The Croft. The steak and ale pie was spot on, really savoury with a proper flaky pastry. The veg on the side were fresh and not overcooked. Made for a solid, cosy lunch.

Popped in on a quiet Monday evening. The nachos were proper cheesy, just how I like 'em. Fries were salty and crispy, came with a couple of dips. Exactly what I was after.

Been coming here for years now. The relaxed vibe is always spot on, never feels rushed. The outdoor space is great for a chilled afternoon, especially with the kids able to run around safely. It's just a reliable place to unwind.

The Mac and cheese was a real standout, so creamy and comforting. The loaded baked potato was just as good. I found the booth seating to be really spacious and comfortable, which made the whole meal feel very relaxed.

Been coming here for years, the carbonara is always spot on. Creamy, not too heavy. The truffle mac and cheese is a solid choice too. Cakes are decent, but I usually just stick with the mains.

The beef Wellington for two was spot on. Live piano in the background was a nice touch.

Had a nice lunch with colleagues here. They gave us a private room, which was very comfortable and made the whole thing so much easier. Food was good, service was friendly and efficient. A very pleasant, hassle-free experience.
