We were a group of 15 people, and all of us were amazed by this place. Great food, friendly service and the surroundings were amazing.Thank you for a lovely evening.Highly recommended.

Lovely spot in Umbertide. Food is classic Umbrian, lots of meat, mushrooms and truffles! The servings are generous. Service very attentive and smooth. Dining room is nice, plenty of space between the tables, though lighting a bit bright. Highly recommended.

For lunch, we did not see any written menu nor price. Instead the waiter read the options to us: three choices for primo, secondo, contorno and dolce. We needed to ask for the price, which 22€ for the set menu excluding beverages. The dishes were typical Italian home cooking - not bad, but nothing special neither. We were not able to pay with credit card (even though it was possible to check out from the same hotel). At the entrance door, you could see three recommendations of Michelin - the most recent from 2015. Possibly eight years ago, the restaurant had the quality level of Michelin recommended places, but certainly not anymore in 2023!

We have somehow managed to omit L'Oliveto from our itinerary over the years. We have finally made amends, and it was spectacular! From the greeting to the seating to the eating, all was better than expected. The steak was delicious, tender, tasty. Highly recommended! The wine list is pretty extensive, focusing on the Strada Vino d'Orcia, and includes some truly rare bottles. All in all, good times indeed!

For a four-star establishment, the service was friendly and accommodating, making the dining experience enjoyable despite some minor issues with the food seasoning.

Take yourself to this lovely hilltop village for a wonderful meal overlooking the beautiful valley below. The six hundred year old building has been beautifully renovated and the food features delicious Umbrian classics, some with a twist.

Been coming here for years. The portions are always generous and you can really taste the quality of the local ingredients.

Been coming here for years. The takeaway slice is always my go-to, same crispy crust and generous topping every time. You can eat in the little room next door if you're not in a rush. It's just reliable.

We booked this only 20 mins before arriving for Sunday lunch. We sat outside with a good view of the Umbrian countryside. To start we shared octopus and potatoes and then both chose the lobster pasta. The starter was good and the main spectacular. The dish came with half a lobster in shell with the pasta in a rich seafood sauce. Will will definitely come back.

Such a warm, welcoming, homely restaurant. I love this place. The food is simple, yet delicious. The owners wonderful. The value exceptional.

A solid spot for a break on the drive from Rome to Florence. The pasta was pretty good, and the service was friendly. Just a short detour off the main road. The only thing was the dining room felt a bit warm.

The food here is exceptional! We enjoyed a variety of dishes, all made with fresh, local ingredients. The homemade flavors and the use of garden herbs made every bite delightful.

It's difficult to find vegetarian options in the land of porchetta. my meal was perfect, tasty and filling. it was also beautifully presented.

If you want to eat authentic and local made food, this is the place to eat! Amazing food quality, good and helpful service, fair price/value: many thanks!

The fried porcini mushrooms were so good we ordered a second plate! Perfect for sharing with friends. The outdoor area under the pergola is lovely for a long, chatty dinner. Just a bit pricey, but worth it for the vibe.

Family-run spot, the owner remembered my name from last time. Felt like dropping by a friend's place, not just a restaurant. Had the daily pasta special, simple but exactly what I needed on a Tuesday night.

The pizza crust had this lovely crisp edge, and the toppings tasted so fresh. 🍕 Friendly service too. Just a cozy, unpretentious spot for a casual bite.

This restaurant offers a lovely atmosphere with beautiful views. The pizza is light and delicious, making it a great spot for a casual meal.

The owner recommended this place, and the pappardelle with wild boar was fantastic. A bold red wine was the perfect match for that rich sauce.

The portions are huge, and the house red was a great match for the hearty dishes. Solid value for the area.

The Tuscan plate was delicious, but the tables are a bit too close together for my liking.

The inside is so pretty and cozy, way nicer than the street view suggests. The staff were super sweet and made us feel right at home.

The wine list has some bold reds that really stand up to the hearty meat dishes. Roast potatoes were spot on.
