The lamb shank was cooked for hours, just fell off the bone. The gravy was rich and thick, perfect with the mash. Really hit the spot on a cold day.

A quiet spot away from the tourist crowds. No music, just the sound of the street. Had the lamb tagine, it was solid, good portion. A bit pricey for what it is, but you're paying for the peace.

The portions are huge and the ingredients taste fresh. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

The afternoon tea was lovely - six cakes and scones, plus unlimited tea. The space is really nice, feels airy and bright. Just a bit too warm inside for my liking.

The bar area is modern and clean, perfect for a relaxed drink. The cocktails are well-made and reasonably priced, especially with their offers.

The brunch menu here is huge! We had a proper catch-up over the avocado toast and pancakes. The food was really good, and the bill didn't hurt at all. Perfect for a lazy Sunday with mates.

Popped in for a quick bite. The panini was lightly toasted, just how I like it. Simple and tasty. Staff were nice and the place is clean. Good for a light lunch.

The staff were so lovely! They noticed we were trying to take a group photo and just offered to do it for us. Really nice touch, made the whole evening feel a bit more special.

The roast was spot on, really fresh and flavourful. But the atmosphere is what got me. The lighting and decor just felt so cosy and welcoming, like a proper Sunday should.

Been coming here for years. The service is always polite and helpful, never lets you down.

A nice, cosy spot. The music is pleasant and they have daily papers, so it's a relaxing place for a meal. The atmosphere is pretty good. It was a decent lunch break.

Cosy spot with a great breakfast. The staff were lovely and helped me pick a nice coffee to go with my eggs.

The staff were friendly and quick. They took our order and then left us to it, which was nice. No hovering, just a relaxed meal. The lamb chops were cooked just right, too.

Lovely view of the cathedral from the terrace on a sunny day. Had a coffee and a slice of their carrot cake - it was moist and not too sweet. A nice, quiet spot for a little break.

The waffle was so light and fluffy, with just the right amount of Nutella. The strawberries were fresh, not too sweet. The staff were really nice about swapping the syrup for me, even though it wasn't on the menu. A lovely little treat.

Stopped in after a walk with the dog. The cheesecake croissant was the highlight—flaky pastry, not too sweet filling. They brought a little bowl of water and a treat for him, which was thoughtful. Flat white was decent. Nice little spot.

The small plates are great for sharing, and the portions are generous. The seating was a bit tight for our group though.

The tandoori chicken was juicy and packed with flavour. But the portion felt a bit small for the price. The gulab jamun with Old Monk was a nice touch though.

Dog-friendly, which is a big plus for us. The vibe is relaxed, perfect for a casual meal with the family.

Diana was so helpful with the sauce and salad choices, really took her time. Even when the system had a little hiccup, she sorted it out calmly. Made the whole ordering bit much less stressful.

Nice spot in the town centre, lovely decor. The staff were friendly and helped me pick a glass of red that went perfectly with the lamb. It really made the dish for me. A bit on the pricey side for the portion, but the pairing was spot on.

Been here a few times with the family. The food is always solid, and honestly, the prices are fair for what you get. Nothing fancy, but you leave feeling like you got your money's worth. The staff are really nice with kids, too.

Love that they have some less common Indian dishes on the menu! Tried the Goan fish curry and it was spot on. Portions are generous for the price, too.

Sat in the courtyard garden for afternoon tea. Lovely spot under the mulberry tree, very peaceful. Service was spot-on. My only quibble – the tea selection was a bit limited for a proper pairing. Still, a nice way to spend an afternoon.
