First time in, the guy taking orders was dead friendly. Had the pork pie with Stilton - massive portion for the money, and the bread that came with it was spot on. My salad had that same nice bread too. They even gave our dog a little treat. Staff were all lovely, proper old-school service.

Lovely cream tea. The scones were warm, and the clotted cream tasted so fresh. The mismatched china was a nice touch, made it feel cosy. A good spot for a quiet afternoon.

A bit of a climb to get in, but the lighting was just right—soft and warm. Felt instantly cosy. The cocktails were lovely, and my pasta dish was simple but done perfectly. A nice spot for a quiet evening.

Been coming here for years. The service is always polite and helpful, never lets you down.

Tareq was super helpful letting me try a few flavours. The pistachio gelato was really refreshing on a hot day. Quick service too, perfect for a fast treat.

A nice, cosy spot. The music is pleasant and they have daily papers, so it's a relaxing place for a meal. The atmosphere is pretty good. It was a decent lunch break.

Cosy spot with a great breakfast. The staff were lovely and helped me pick a nice coffee to go with my eggs.

The staff were friendly and quick. They took our order and then left us to it, which was nice. No hovering, just a relaxed meal. The lamb chops were cooked just right, too.

Lovely view of the cathedral from the terrace on a sunny day. Had a coffee and a slice of their carrot cake - it was moist and not too sweet. A nice, quiet spot for a little break.

The waffle was so light and fluffy, with just the right amount of Nutella. The strawberries were fresh, not too sweet. The staff were really nice about swapping the syrup for me, even though it wasn't on the menu. A lovely little treat.

The sausage roll here is the reason I keep coming back. The pastry is perfectly flaky and buttery, the sausage meat inside is really well-seasoned and moist. It's a proper homemade one, not like the dry, greasy ones you get elsewhere. Just a solid, classic version done right.

The vegan Korean pancakes were spot on - crispy edges, soft inside. Brownie was fudgy, not dry at all. Sat in the courtyard, perfect for a sunny afternoon. Portions felt a bit small for the price, but the flavours were solid.

Been grabbing breakfast here for years. The breakfast sandwich is spot on, and it's right by the station so I can dash in and out. Coffee's always good and hot. A bit pricey these days, but you're paying for the location.

Stumbled upon this place and had to try their beans on toast. They're not stingy with the beans at all, which I love. Just a shame you can't pick your bread – got white, but would've preferred sourdough. Still, a solid find.

The staff here are so lovely. They remembered my name from my last visit a few months ago, which was a really nice touch. Makes it feel like a proper local spot.

Love the 50s vibe here. It's a proper vintage tea room, with all the old memorabilia on the shelves. Felt really cosy and relaxed just sitting there with my pot of tea.

Nice spot for a casual bite. The atmosphere is clean and simple, very welcoming. Had their house red with the pasta - a solid, unpretentious pairing that hit the spot. Just a comforting, straightforward meal.

The restaurant has a great ambience with fresh and delicious food, comfortable seating, and friendly staff, making it a perfect spot for a meal.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper little hideaway down the lane. Their milkshake is the real deal - thick, not too sweet. Always hits the spot. Prices are fair for what you get.

The lamb shank was cooked for hours, just fell off the bone. The gravy was rich and thick, perfect with the mash. Really hit the spot on a cold day.

A quiet spot away from the tourist crowds. No music, just the sound of the street. Had the lamb tagine, it was solid, good portion. A bit pricey for what it is, but you're paying for the peace.

The afternoon tea was lovely - six cakes and scones, plus unlimited tea. The space is really nice, feels airy and bright. Just a bit too warm inside for my liking.

The bar area is modern and clean, perfect for a relaxed drink. The cocktails are well-made and reasonably priced, especially with their offers.
