Great spot by the river for a casual catch-up with mates. The vibe is just right for a chilled afternoon.

First time in, the guy taking orders was dead friendly. Had the pork pie with Stilton - massive portion for the money, and the bread that came with it was spot on. My salad had that same nice bread too. They even gave our dog a little treat. Staff were all lovely, proper old-school service.

Lovely cream tea. The scones were warm, and the clotted cream tasted so fresh. The mismatched china was a nice touch, made it feel cosy. A good spot for a quiet afternoon.

The pistachio milk cake was the standout. Really creamy, with a nice crunch from the nuts. The mochi was good too, chewy and not too sweet. A solid spot for a sweet treat.

Came in for dinner. The haddock was the standout. Fresh, flaky, perfectly cooked. Everything else was good, but that fish was next level.

Amin, the owner, has this way of making you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. So welcoming. It's a nice touch that the place gets involved with local charities too.

The wood-fired pizza had a thin, crispy crust that didn't go soggy. Toppings were super fresh, especially the tomatoes. A solid choice for a casual bite.

The roast beef was exactly what I wanted. Tender, with a rich gravy that had depth. The Yorkshire pudding was light and crisp. Just a solid, comforting plate of food.

Popped in for a late lunch, just wanted something simple. The steak pie was proper hearty, the mash was smooth. Went down a treat with a pint of stout. Exactly what you want from a pub.

Nice spot for a family meal. Everything arrived hot and tasty, even with a big group. The pod was a bit snug but fine for us.

That lamb curry was something else. The spices were so fragrant and the meat just fell apart. Honestly, it's ruined other curries for me now. The whole place had a really nice, relaxed vibe too.

Their granary sandwiches are a real winner. The bread is thick and nutty, and they pack it with fillings. Had the tuna and coleslaw today – really hit the spot.

Popped in for their Tuesday buffet. Decent spread, plenty of veggie choices too. The lamb curry was spot on. Bit of a queue to get in, but it moved fast.

Parking lot's got a lot of speed bumps. My coffee nearly went everywhere. Just a heads-up if you're carrying a drink.

The staff are really friendly and clearly love what they do. They suggested a lovely wine that paired perfectly with my main course.

The bartender was a real pro when my friend felt unwell. Calm, discreet, and knew exactly what to do. Service like that, especially with a good wine list to back it up, makes all the difference. Really solid.

The food's good, but I found a few dishes needed more heat for my liking. The chicken curry, for example, was a bit mild. Still, the flavours are solid.

Lovely spot by the river. The view was really nice and made for a relaxed lunch. A bit on the pricier side for what you get, but the setting is hard to beat.

Been coming here for ages. The team always remembers my usual order and never rushes me, even when they're busy. Food's always reliable. Just a solid spot.

Lovely spot for a catch-up with friends on a summer night. We sat at the tables right by the water. The roast beef was nice and pink, just how I like it. A bit pricey, but the vibe was spot on.

Charlene was so lovely! Made our girls' night feel extra special. The pizza buffet is a solid choice for a catch-up - loads of fresh slices and the salad bar is endless. Just a bit noisy when it gets busy, but that's the vibe.

Been coming here for years. The set Canton meal is consistently good, and they're always happy to swap the chicken for teriyaki.
