Thai Basil Restaurant

I accidentally stumbled into a Thai restaurant. The fried rice there was delicious. I ordered Tom Yum Goong soup, which went well with rice. The Thai fried rice noodles were also good, and the crabs were not bad either.

This restaurant called Thai Basil restaurant is mainly Thai cuisine, and the dishes here are mainly based on fresh ingredients. This restaurant has two dining areas, indoor and outdoor. We did not make a reservation in advance, so we sat in the lobby.

This is a Thai restaurant, but their mango sticky rice is completely different from what we eat in Thailand, both in appearance and taste, but it is still delicious, and the bill is not expensive. It is not easy to eat this in Long Beach

Located at the side entrance of D'mall, it is a small store with not many customers. In the hot afternoon in Southeast Asia, a refreshing lemongrass drink, a small portion of Tom Yum Goong soup, and a signature mango sticky rice are definitely sour and spicy appetizers and restore vitality. I highly recommend the lemongrass drink, which tastes a bit like elderberry juice, with the fragrance of lemon, and a sweet and sour feeling. Tom Yum Goong is not authentic, but it is indeed suitable for food in tropical countries. Mango sticky rice is not as fragrant as Thai, and the glutinous rice is a bit hard. In addition, mangoes in the Philippines are generally sour, which is a different feeling. I don't recommend this restaurant for dinner, because there are not enough varieties and the place is not big enough.

The food in Long Beach is really not tasty. After a week, I feel that I have no interest in anything. They are burnt here! Burnt to black! So I still eat Thai food! It's a little expensive, but the taste is much better than local food. I feel so happy to eat Thai food in the Philippines! My favorite Tom Yum Goong is well made here! You can try it!
