the staff are genually willing to help your eating experience is above average. More importantly the food is cooked to order on site by a enthusiastic Chef and presented beautifully. Well worth a visit.

Pistachio croissant was fresh and buttery. Filling amount was spot on. Coffee paired well. Got mine to go during a busy lunch hour - they handled the queue efficiently. Solid quick bite.

The full English was spot on, especially those grilled mushrooms. They took me right back. Had it with a proper pot of strong breakfast tea, which was just the thing. A solid start to the day.

Been coming here for years. They do a solid range of sandwiches and bread, but you've got to get in early. Always busy with locals, which says it all really. My usual is the ham and cheese on rye, simple but good.

Quirky, relaxed spot in a historic building. Good for a casual drink with a friend. The vibe is the main draw here.

Been coming here for years. The chocolate brownie is always good, and they do a decent gluten-free one too. Coffee's spot on. Breakfast is solid, nothing fancy but gets the job done.

The burgers here are solid, but the portion size for the price left me a bit underwhelmed. My partner's was fine, but mine felt a touch on the small side. Still tasty, just wish there was a bit more to it.

The beef goulash was spot on, really hit the spot on a cold evening. That herby dumpling was a great touch. Found a local red that paired beautifully with the richness of the stew. Staff were lovely, made you feel right at home.

The Christmas Eve dinner was a proper treat, and the coffee's always spot on. But for what you pay, I did expect a bit more on the plate for the main course. Still, the quality is there.

The power went out halfway through our meal. They brought out candles and didn't rush us at all. The steak was still cooked perfectly medium-rare, even in the dim light. Honestly, the food didn't miss a beat.

Been coming here for years, always solid. The crab chowder's the one to get - proper flavour, not too thick. Had it last week, still hits the spot. Coffee's decent too.

Lovely spot by the old Roman walls. The coffee was spot on, and their wine list had a few nice surprises to go with the cakes.

The cheese and bacon rolls here are a real treat. Just had one fresh from the oven, the cheese was perfectly melted and gooey. A bit on the small side for the price, but honestly, I'd probably get another.

The vegan carrot cake was so good, and they had oat milk for my latte. Perfect spot to catch up with a friend.

The crab linguine was packed with big chunks of crab and tasted fresh. Just a bit oily for my liking.

A proper local pub. Mark and his mum are lovely, really make you feel at home. The new air con is a godsend on a warm day, and the garden out back is a nice spot. Just what you need.

The coffee here is top-notch, honestly one of the best cups I've had in a long while. The caramel cake was spot on, not too sweet. The brownie crunch could've been a bit more... crunchy, but it was still tasty.

Popped in for a slice of carrot cake and ended up trying the black forest gateau too. The cake selection is really something! So many choices, it was hard to pick just one. A lovely little spot for a sweet treat.

The free WiFi's decent, but honestly, I'm here for the food. Their burger patty is thick and properly juicy, cooked just right. The bun holds up well, doesn't get soggy. That's what keeps me coming back.

Mixed shawarma hit the spot today. The bread was fresh, meat nicely seasoned, and the salad was crisp. Honestly, it's up there with the better spots around here. Just a solid, tasty wrap.

The bacon sandwich was spot on, simple and tasty. Chips were crispy and hot. Ice cream was creamy, just right for a sunny afternoon. A solid, unpretentious spot.

Nice to have the outdoor space for our dog. The ice cream next door was a lovely treat.

Nice spot for a quick break after the walk. Sandwiches are made fresh when you order, so there's a bit of a wait. Cakes are homemade and decent. Good for a fast bite if you're not in a huge rush.

The pastries are top-notch, especially the Danish. The chairs were quite comfortable too, which made a nice difference.

The vegan bacon was a nice touch, they actually went and got some when they were out. Portions are decent for the price, I left feeling full. Good to see a place that caters to different diets without charging a fortune.
