TheForkUserWe selected the 3 course 'mystery' selection. Each dish was delicious and specially prepared and with great attention for detail. The service was attentive and friendly. We were most impressed. We definitely will come again.
TheForkUserOf course the view, with the sunset, was amazing. That alone would have been sufficient for a good rating. However, the food and the service were also excellent.
TheForkUserThe virtual buffet is fantastic. Huge range of items especially rolls and sashimi. Hot food is also good especially duck and beef. Amazing value at 52 CHF.
TheForkUserHad the business lunch, which as always was delicious. The salad starter, prawns or duck main course, as we were two we tried them both. Fresh pineapple for dessert. Everything was perfect.
TheForkUserWe had a great time eating delicious food at your resturant. The waiter was professional, and really friendly. We definitly liked that you have a very modern style.
TheForkUserBased on our meal and experience, Wein & Sein, with a single Michelin star, is grossly underrated! Each course in the menu reflected perfection in presentation and taste. The creativity demonstrated and complexity achieved in every dish was brilliant!
TheForkUserAlways a treat to dine at MJC which always provides excellent food and super service at such a great venue. The perfect weather this time of year didn't hurt either!
TheForkUserThis is a family business. One can feel the genuine care from the team. The food was outstanding and the service friendly and professional. We will return.
TheForkUserSuch a yummy restaurant with incredible views. The classic fondue was to die for, highly recommend. Additionally, the staff was ver accommodating and kind.
TheForkUserSwiss and French inspired tappas and entrees, excellent wine/drinks selection, cool jazz vibe and decor, English speaking too! Very good service
TheForkUserI have had Indian Cuisine in many places throughout the world and the quality at Swagt is in Top 3. Outstanding taste the Chicken Korma was cooked to perfection as was the Kamb Masala. Can't wait to return. Mr Rooney .
TheForkUserFood was outstanding! Beautiful presentation and delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. We had a great evening.
TheForkUserThis is one of the very best restaurants in the region. Well worth the effort to come. The food is local, fresh, imaginative with a touch of both tradition and discovery. The chef is first rate. Dining here is a pleasure and a must!
TheForkUserEven though Montreaux is one of the most expensive cities we have ever visited anywhere in the world, our dinner at Chez John is HANDS DOWN the best dining value anywhere. There are plenty of reasons why the ratings for this restaurant are so consistently high. For us…the two big standouts were the quality of the cuts of beef we ordered, and surprisingly (for us) the bottle of John’s “Red” we consumed with our meal. We stayed at the Fairmont which is known for great service. The food…not so much. We ate at other top rated choices like “Why Montreaux?” And realized the name of the restaurant might be ironic. It’s not that the food there was bad…it just made us miss the food and experience at Chez John a short walk away. We really enjoyed the quality of the food and the gracious attention of our hosts. Don’t skip this one.
TheForkUserAmazing food quality. The vegetarian risotto was one of the best I have ever tasted and the chocolate fondant desert was delectable/delicious. OMG! I tasted my girlfriend’s filets de perche and that was excellent too. This is a restaurant that takes the quality of its food very seriously. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended. We will go back for sure!
TheForkUserAmazing view. Excellent service. The waitress was extremely nice and patient with our kids. You have to visit this place if you are in Fribourg. Very good brunch!!
TheForkUserIf you go to an Irish Pub on a Friday night… It’s going to be busy. Especially, when the Irish Stew is authentic. I felt like I was back in my Sainted Grandmother’s kitchen. Thanks for the wonderful food, and sparking my memory back to my childhood.🍀
TheForkUserThe food was delicious and spot on! The view of the lake is breathtaking. The staff are super kind and efficient. We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we will definitely be coming back!
TheForkUserWe went here for my daughter’s 11 birthday. We sat outside on a really nice terrace with pond. Menu was great and a little different. The children’s menu is particularly good value at CHF19 for 3 courses. The staff were great and brought my daughter’s dessert with a candle in it which she loved. Will definitely go back.
TheForkUserAll four of us ate different meals and really enjoyed them. Red Curry with chicken, Pad Thai with tofu and also with chicken, and another dish I've forgotten the name of. Starters were Nems. All delicious. Service really friendly and atmosphere cosy and lively at the same time. It was our first time here but will definitely become one of our regular places to eat while in the Montreux area.
TheForkUserAs always, thoroughly enjoyed the food — great flavors, right quantity and good tempo of plate sequence. The host was impeccable.
TheForkUserWe was surprised , every dish was perfectly cooked and served as well as the food combination and presentation . The view is amazing ..
TheForkUserThe terrace was quite pleasant. The menu was rather limited, but what there was was (mostly) very good. Wine list was interesting, but a bit overpriced. Service excellent.
TheForkUserMy boys and I enjoyed a deliciously beautiful meal, in a wonderful setting out of Switzerland ????. Thank you for your hospitality and the wonderful experience! ????????
TheForkUserThey sell the idea of eating like in the middle ages and the forks, knifes and ambient is made like this. The foot is rather an disappointment - sound interesting but is very much standard foot what you can get somewhere else for half of the price. Overall I would not go there a second time.
TheForkUserExcellent views and the food was amazing. Don't be discouraged that it's technically at a rehabilitation hospital, it's totally worth it if you're in the area
TheForkUserDelicious menu with some local specialities. Highlights were the house malakoff cheese balls and superb patisserie. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.
TheForkUserThis little restaurant is a lovely place, close the airport Neuchatel. The employees are very friendly and the food is delicious. Thank you very much, see you agaun soon.
