The shrimp and grits with spinach and mushrooms was solid. Place is quiet, good for a business lunch. Appreciate the military discount. Service was efficient.

Came in with a group of six on a whim. The queso was the real star, honestly. Everyone else liked their fajitas and enchiladas, but I could've just had a bowl of that cheese dip. Solid spot.

Came across this spot and tried the vegan burger. Sweet potato fries were crispy, coconut quinoa had a nice texture. Good to see clear labels for vegan options.

I love the variety of options available, including gluten-free and vegan choices. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making the dining experience enjoyable.

No. 3 of Local Restaurants in Dallas

Kyle and Jacob are the best bartenders! They really know their stuff and made some gorgeous drinks for our group.

Dustin was a great server. Knew the menu well and gave solid wine suggestions.

Had a late dinner here. They stayed open past closing for our reservation, which I appreciated. The Chicken Fried Benedict was fresh, no complaints. The wait was long though.

The duck was perfectly crispy, with that French technique really shining through. The gnocchi was top-notch too.

The Truck Stop Burger is insane, honestly. Juicy patty, melty cheese, the works. Also tried the pastrami and it's up there with the best I've had. A solid spot for when you're craving something hearty.

The chicken and waffles are always a solid choice. But honestly, I keep coming back for the vibe. There's just something about the warm lighting and that faint hum of conversation that feels so cozy. Perfect for a low-key evening.

Natalie is the best server, always smiling and so efficient. She remembered my order from last time, which was a nice touch. The lunch specials are solid, but honestly, it's seeing her that makes me come back.

The staff was super friendly and knew the menu inside out. I asked about pairing options, and they let me sample a local craft beer before I ordered. It went perfectly with the burger. That kind of helpful service makes a difference.

The grilled salmon was a decent choice, came with a nice side of vegetables. It's simple food, but well-prepared and tasty. The service was fine, though a bit slow.

Been coming here for years, and the French toast is why. It’s always cooked just right – never soggy in the middle, not too eggy. Portions are big enough to share, which is nice. That consistency keeps me coming back.

Parking's easy in the back. Good neighborhood spot in Oak Lawn.

Been coming here for years. Tried their private dining for a family thing last week. Staff was on top of everything, really smooth. Felt like they knew what we needed before we did.

Loved the covered patio here. It was a warm evening but felt totally comfortable, and the string lights gave it a nice vibe. A solid spot for a relaxed dinner outside.

The Pollo La Brasa was a good change of pace. Grilled chicken was well-seasoned, chipotle sauce had a nice kick. Cheesy grits were creamy and a solid side. A bit pricey for lunch, but portion was fair. Would order it again.

Youssef was great at suggesting a wine to go with the hot stone bowl. That dish was the star, really flavorful. A solid, quiet spot for a date night. The wine pairing made it.

Shrimp tacos are my go-to for a quick lunch. Two big shrimp in each, fresh veggies. The spicy salsa and jalapenos really make it. Outdoor seating is a nice bonus when the weather's good.

Those brisket tacos are the real deal. The meat is so tender and just the right amount of seasoned. Not greasy at all. I could eat those all day.

Latte art was really cool, like a little masterpiece. Baristas definitely care. Coffee tasted good too, solid spot for a quick caffeine fix.

The strawberry shortcake sundae is a seasonal gem. Their house-made vanilla bean ice cream was the perfect pairing for it.

Love that they have a legit gluten-free bun! The sweet potato fries are my go-to when I'm here with friends.

Came for a special occasion. The staff was really sweet and surprised us with a dessert. My only note is the wine list felt a bit limited for the menu. Still, a nice touch that made the evening.

The gluten-free pizza crust is actually pretty solid. I'm not usually a fan, but this one held up well and didn't feel like a compromise. Good to have a decent option without the usual cardboard texture.

Solid breakfast joint, menu’s got plenty to choose from. My food arrived piping hot, even the syrup was warm—nice touch. The bacon was a bit under-seasoned for my taste, but overall a decent spot.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon to avoid the crowds elsewhere. No wait at all, which was a relief. The food was really good. I appreciated how comfortable the booths were—made for a very relaxed meal.

Been coming here for work lunches for years. They never rush you, which is perfect when you need to actually finish a conversation.

Came with friends and we all loved the shrimp Portofino. The manager was actually cooking it himself, which was a nice touch. Pasta was spot on. A bit pricey, but the vibe was perfect for a chill catch-up.
