The owner and staff are so passionate, it really shows. They gave us great tips on what to order for sharing with friends!

Decent portions for the price. Had the steak frites, and the house red they suggested was a solid pairing. A reliable spot when you just want a proper meal without fuss.

The spaghetti carbonara here is the real deal. Creamy, rich, and the guanciale is perfectly crisp. It's exactly what you want from a classic Roman dish. Simple, no fuss, just good food.

First time here and I was really impressed by the breakfast options. You can choose the size of your full English, which is perfect. The street parking was a nice bonus too.

The food here is so good, and you get a lot for what you pay. My friend and I shared a couple of dishes and were totally stuffed. Perfect for a casual catch-up where you don't want to spend a fortune.

Staff were super friendly even when it was heaving. Got seated quicker than expected, which was a relief with the kids. Felt like a proper family spot.

Service was quick, staff were friendly. Food came out fast, which is what I needed for a quick lunch. Good for a reliable bite.

Service was friendly and attentive, even when they were quite busy with a few large tables. They were accommodating, which made for a pleasant evening. The only slight downside was a bit of a wait for the bill, but it was fine overall.

Dahi puri was the highlight, really fresh and tangy. The manager suggested it, spot on. Desserts were nice too, a good end to the meal with friends.

Popped in for a cream tea. The scone was massive, really light and fluffy. Couldn't finish it, honestly. Good spot for a proper afternoon treat.

Nice bakery near the Roman sites. The staff were really friendly and had a good sense of humour, which made the whole lunch feel very relaxed.

Turkish eggs were tasty, the ginger tea was lovely. But the tables are a bit too close together, felt like I was sharing my neighbour's conversation.

Such a friendly spot, love the relaxed vibe here. Came for a coffee and ended up staying for lunch with a friend. The staff are genuinely warm, makes it a great place to just hang out for a bit.

The Fiordilatte gelato is fantastic. Had it as an affogato with their americano - really good combo. Bit of a walk to get here, but no regrets.

Staff were super friendly, Doha especially patient and attentive. The desserts are excellent, some of the best I've had in Cardiff. Coffee's really good too. Solid spot.

Vindaloo had a great kick, not overwhelming. Bhajis were crispy, naan soft. Got my order in 10 minutes, perfect for a quick lunch. Portion was decent.

The Pad Thai was spot on, really flavourful. Ryan swapped out a starter for us without any hassle, which was nice. Sweetcorn fritters were good too. Solid spot for a casual bite.

Loved the little garden out back! It was perfect for catching up with friends over coffee. So much nicer than being inside on a sunny day. The space is small but really cosy.

The grilled meats were really tender and the curries had a lovely, rich aroma. You could definitely tell the ingredients were fresh. The whole place just had a nice, relaxed vibe to it.

The teriyaki 'beef' was really tasty and you can pick your spice level. Perfect for grabbing a bite with friends who eat plant-based.

The chicken wrap was so generous, really hit the spot. Everything just felt fresh and warm, straight from the kitchen. Just a nice, solid meal.

The ordering app was a nice touch, really streamlined things. Food arrived piping hot, which I always appreciate. Made the whole evening feel a bit more relaxed, you know?

Good variety on the menu, including grilled options and a kids' section. Nice to see more than just fish and chips.

Poshrooms for brunch were solid. The caramel cappuccino was good, and I grabbed a brownie to go. My husband's curry and the onion bhaji were a hit – not deep-fried, which was a nice touch. Service was efficient, got us in and out quickly.

The staff here are genuinely lovely. They're so warm and friendly, it makes the whole place feel really comfortable. Even when it's packed, they're on it.

The jacket potato with tuna was a generous portion, and the staff were very friendly. They made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed without being overbearing. It was a very relaxed lunch.
