The tapas menu had loads of variety, which was nice. We tried a few different plates to share. The flavours were all really distinct. The space itself is quite cosy, with warm lighting and those lovely rustic wooden tables.

The panini were warm and full of flavour, and the seats were surprisingly comfortable for a quick lunch.

Been coming here for years, and the open mic nights are a big part of why. It&#39;s not every week, but when they have a local musician playing, the whole vibe just clicks. You get your usual great meal, but with a proper soundtrack. Makes for a really solid evening out.

Plenty of parking.                             Great to find such variety on a pub menu, available online at the Vintage Inns site, along with any allergy details for which you may need to allow. Driving today, so was not able to sample the Doom Bar beer. Pepsi Max and Fruity fizzy drinks, instead. Well chilled.        Chose the Crab Cake starter &amp; Moroccan Chicken skewers. Food was perfectly prepared with fantastic taste. Fairly quiet early on a Monday evening, but still a pleasant environment with gentle background music. Not the best weather this evening, but noted the outdoor seating is well furnished and extensive for a hot, sunny day.  A couple of steps down to the main restaurant area, but the Inn had noted our booking requirements and had thankfully allocated us a table in the quiet part of the upper area.

Lovely spot for a village pub. The lamb burger was spot on, and the cheese chips were a nice touch. My steak came with a decent red wine suggestion that really worked. Kids ate well too. A bit pricey, but you&#39;re paying for the location.

The bread with the soup was the real standout. Really good crust, soft inside, perfect for dipping. Service was fine, atmosphere was nice and relaxed. I&#39;d go back just for that bread.

Came by with my dog on a hot day. The staff brought out a big bowl of icy water for him without me even asking. Really thoughtful touch. Saw the food on other tables, looked good. Quick, friendly spot.

Best chip butty I&#39;ve had in ages, honestly. The bread was spot on. Washed it down with a surprisingly decent pint of lager, which cut through the richness perfectly. A proper little lunch.
