The coffee here is solid, and they had a nice little selection of pastries. I grabbed a croissant and a cappuccino &ndash; the pairing was just right for a quiet morning read. The croissant was decent, a bit denser than I prefer, but the coffee&#39;s rich notes balanced it out nicely. A pleasant spot for a simple coffee break.

The old manor house is gorgeous. We sat in the garden under the trees, and it was so peaceful. A real find in Gu&eacute;rande, even if the chairs were a bit hard after a while.
