Real Canoa

As usual, we received a very warm and friendly greeting and were treated like long lost friends.Bruno and his staff were, as usual busy and efficient.

We booked here for 1800hrs on a Friday night, it was surprisingly quiet. We only had a main course but for 2 75year olds it was more than enough, we could have shared the the pork and prawn between us. Food was beautiful, service was excellent. We have eaten here annually on our visits to Madeira and never been disappointed.

This was a restaurant we’d visited several times several years ago. Sometimes it is not good to go back to places because you’re likely to be disappointed. Not the case here. Good food, efficient staff and nice atmosphere. The only disappointment was that we didn’t see Bruno. Guess he needs a day off occasionally !

The food was incredible, Bruno and his staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was great with live music. It was so good we went there again and it will definitely be on our list for next year. Fantastic!

Nice crew, unfortunately they were understaffed. It made us wait a very long time for the food, which also was mixed up. The staff tried their best to solve the problems.
