Both the food and extraordinary service at Alma make it the best restaurant in Lisbon. Each dish is presented beautifully and consists of amazing textures and complex and interesting tastes. The servers are knowledgable and warm and most of all professional. One of our favorite restaurants anywhere.

It was a delightful food journey. All the dishes are beautifully presented and well executed. Very nice explosions of flavors in the mouth. A great experience in Lisbon.

Alma is a 2 Michelin Star rated restaurant that lives up to the hype. The food is amazing, the service is impeccable and the presentation is creative with an artistic flair. My wife and I each got the tasting menu&#39;s (they offer two choices and we got 1 of each) and we shared each course. We felt like we were provided a tour of delicious Portuguese cuisine from all over the country. My only warning to anyone who goes here is come hungry! We were so full when we were done we were glad we only had a 15 minute walk back to our hotel. If you want a gastronomic feast, Alma does not disappoint!

Honestly this place was AMAZING. Was hesitant because of some of the reviews and WOW please ignore anything negative! The food was phenomenal and the service was top notch. They were extremely attentive to every detail. This was dinner our first night in Lisbon and I HIGHLY recommend!

That was the second Michelin Star restaurant we visited in Lisbon. The food was wonderful and unexpected. But the services were not as attentive as other Michelin restaurant. I expect they would spend some more time to explain each dish in more detail. Overall experience was pleasant, but we expect more from a two stars Michelin.

Situated in the lower level of a large Princely mansion, the coveted  16 tufted high chairs aroundThe U shaped bar are the setting for the GASTRONOMIC SYMPHONY. Each diner is a member of the audience. The chef conducts his staff, providing the most glorious presentations and delectable offerings. The maestro discusses the presentations . At the same time the sous chefs are putting the finishing touches on the dishes. The offerings are presented and plated in front of the guest, while watching the various presentations around the bar. The atmosphere is open yet intimate. Each reservation is separate while being part of the total experience. The food! It&#39;s a &quot; symphony&quot;Of textures and tastes. The melding of a spice to an herb to a protein. Truly an experience. An OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE.Now, one drawback. The building is historic. As a result there is no elevator. If you are handicapped, not able to walk, then unfortunately you will not be able to experience TWO MONKEYS.

No. 3 of Fine Dining  in Lisbon

The steak buns are of great quality! The beef inside is very chewy and juicy. In addition, their queen rolls are also very delicious, the cake is soft and the cream inside is not greasy at all! ! Durian pan tart is also one of my favorites, with a super rich durian filling, a must-have for durian lovers~

Besides a salad which, in my opinion, was a bit dull everything else was exceptionally good. I would mention the desert (chocolate cake?) which was indeed very special.

I changed the restaurant to eat paella again. Ahhh, I love it so much. I decided to learn how to make Portuguese paella [Minions are happy] It tastes much better than the salty and oily Spanish paella. By the way, this restaurant is called As Velhas. It is right next to the airbnb I booked. I wanted to eat there last night, but I didn&rsquo;t make a reservation and there was no seat, so I went there for lunch today. ​

Besides getting to the restaurant late, the staff was amazing and very attentive. The food is amazing, the flavours are what you&#39;re expecting from Portuguese cuisine.
