This was the third time we had been to Mare over several years. It was as wonderful as our first visit. We enjoyed our meal and were keen to try other items being enjoyed around us. The staff was attentive while not overbearing. A very enjoyable experience.

Inventive seafood  - starters included shrimp tacos, savory &#39;pastel&#39; and scallops.  The Octopus stew main served in a cataplana dish was impressive.  Good house wines and attentive service. Range of home made yummy deserts.   Pricier than other local restaurants but effort in creation and presentation was clear.  Would go again

Attentive, knowledgeable staff. Food excellent. Scallops were exceptional. Beautifully presented and cooked perfectly.

We were 2 families, 4 adults and 5 kids. Everything was perfect!!! Food, drinks, service&hellip; best restaurant during our trip in Portugal.

We had a beautiful meal in a neat square under the warm evening sky. There was a mix of customers from young children to a few senior citizens but all seamed to enjoy their evening

One of the best restaurants in Olh&atilde;o.  Excellent reception and service, food, and ambiance/decor.  Appropriately sophisticated yet down to earth, Pizza na P&eacute;dra does not close the kitchen between services so late-lunchers are not turned away.  Daily pasta specials are superb and fresh.

Visited with friends on the last night of our holiday, so a bit of pressure on me, but did not disappoint. We had a lovely window table, water offered as we sat down, and service at all stages was excellent. A nice level of knowledgable advice and chat from all staff who served us. I chose tagliatelle  dish which I had had before, one friend chose the same the other had fillet steak. All were delicious, washed down with a glass each of house wine, which we were informed was from Tavira, even the location of the vineyard! Then two of us shared a very chocolatey dessert. The bill was pleasingly modest for the quality of the food and service. Highly recommended for a slightly special occasion.

Really tasty fresh food. The prawn curry with wild rice was beautiful. Wine was fantastic and the waitress and other staff members were very attentive. One of the best meals we had while in Olhao.
