We were lucky to have found this place on the Christmas day. The food was delicious, very flavored and the wine was sublime. Compliments to the couple who run this small but fantastic restaurant.
Nestled within the charming ambiance of a beautifully repurposed church. At the heart of this delightful restaurant are Ariel and his wife, who make an exceptional team. Ariel, the chef, crafts exquisite dishes that tantalize the taste buds and showcase his culinary expertise. Every plate is a testament to his passion for food and creativity, delivering flavors that are both innovative and comforting.Complementing Ariel's culinary prowess is his wife, an outstanding hostess whose welcoming smile and attentive service make you feel right at home. The combination of Ariel's fantastic cooking and his wife's excellent hospitality makes every visit a delightful experience.
We has a good time and the food was great and not at all expensive for what it was. The couple that manages the restaurant was kind and competent. Will probably come back!
Food was absolutely amazing!! Very authentic Alentejano dishes, prepared with care and great presentation without compromising quantities! The beer was served very cold, unfortunately, the wine was served quite warm, which was a shame. The restaurant is inside an old convent and the aircon was not working, which made lunch a bit uncomfortable, but it was bereable, I will definitely go back, perhaps during winter time!! Thank you for the chef and staff attention, really made our day!
