The music lineup here is always solid, and the vibe stays lively without feeling chaotic. Security was on it too, which I appreciated.

The butternut soup was exactly what I needed on a chilly evening. Rich and warm. The Pit Boss Grill had good flavour, just a bit smaller than I expected. Cool vibe though, and service was quick.

Stopped here for a late lunch after a long walk. The garden seating is proper green, feels like you're out of the city for a bit. Had the grilled chicken salad - decent size, dressing was a bit heavy but the greens were fresh. Dog was happy with the water bowl they brought out. Prices are fair for what you get.

Stopped by for a quick dinner last week. The food’s got real flavour, not that watered-down stuff you get elsewhere. Portion size is decent for what you pay, honestly didn’t expect it to be this filling. Place was a bit busy but service kept up alright. I’ll probably come back when I’m in the area again.

Booked the Sunday roast and it was pretty good — lovely garden setting and the staff were friendly. Gets busy so booking’s a must. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger.

The view from the deck is amazing, perfect for relaxing with a drink and enjoying the chill vibe.

Restaurant in Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton, Johannesburg

Sat by the big windows watching planes take off while eating the halloumi wrap. It came with decent sides and sauces, nothing fancy but satisfying. Service was quick and friendly. The window view really makes it - could easily lose an hour here with a book. Just wish the wrap had a bit more filling.

The biscotti ice cream here is legit — creamy with just the right crunch. Decor gives off that Parisian vibe, cozy enough to hang out. Service was a bit slow though, and I wish they had more pastry options.

Sunset view from the terrace is solid. Got there early enough to grab a good spot. Gets busy and a bit smoky later, but the scenery makes up for it.

The halloumi salad was proper fresh, really tasty. Ginger shot caught me off guard, in a good way. Service dragged a bit, but honestly the food made up for it. Simple spot, decent prices. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

Had the ribs and wings – that basting sauce was seriously good. Portions are generous too. Service was quick and friendly. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The seating is what stood out to me—those wooden chairs are surprisingly comfortable for a coffee spot. I ended up staying way longer than planned just reading. Barista knew his stuff when I asked for a recommendation. Food was solid too, nothing fancy but done right. It's become my go-to when I need to get out of the house.

The Mzanzi breakfast came out exactly how I asked—eggs properly done and toast with the right crunch. Service moved quickly, which I appreciated. The manager swung by our table to check in, that was a nice touch. Seating area felt a bit cramped though, especially when it got busier. Solid spot for a no-fuss morning meal.

Came here on a whim and honestly the owner made the whole visit. Super attentive without hovering, even chatted with us for a bit. Food was solid — got the mapo tofu and it hit the spot. Place is big and clean, tables aren't crammed together which I appreciated. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

The lighting in here is doing something right—warm without being dim, makes the whole space feel softer. Coffee fell flat though, kinda bitter in a way that wasn't pleasant. Those pastries in the case looked incredible, wish I'd grabbed one. Maybe next time I'll just do dessert instead.

The banchan spread alone makes this place worth stopping by. Kimchi jjigae hit the spot on a chilly evening 🥘 Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends.

The hot chocolate here is proper—rich, not too sweet. I grabbed the spicy chicken mayo sandwich too, it’s got a decent kick. Staff are always up for a quick chat, makes the place feel welcoming. Only thing is it can get a bit busy around lunch, but that’s a good sign I guess.

The Bangkok bowl with Thai basil was proper tasty, and the portions are generous for the price. Korean fried chicken was decent too, nice and sticky.

Been coming here for a while now, and the Halloween setup this year was proper cool. Staff got into it with the face paint and themed gear. Music was decent too. The livers were the standout again—still as good as the first time I tried them. Portions are fair for what you pay. Keeps me coming back.

Qunu offers an outstanding dining experience with personalized service and exquisite food. The warm and charming ambiance makes it perfect for special occasions.

Came here to get some work done and ended up staying longer than planned. Boitumelo kept checking in, coffee stayed full. Quiet enough to focus, not dead either. Solid spot if you need somewhere to camp with your laptop for a few hours.

Been here a few times now and the breakfast stays consistent. Staff remember you, which is nice. Good spot if you're in the area.

Hummus toastie and zucchini rostis were solid. Breakfast menu's got some nice NY-inspired options. Staff were friendly enough.

Solid sushi buffet for the price - R249-R265 gets you plenty of options. Bao and sushi were decent, nothing fancy but fills you up proper. Good spot if you're hungry and don't want to spend too much.
