Came here for a special dinner and honestly the portion sizes caught me off guard. We ordered the lamb shank and it was huge, easily enough for two. The bill came to R850 for three plates and two drinks, which felt fair for Sandton. Place was busy but we got seated fast. Just wish they had more dessert options, the malva pudding sold out by 8pm.

Reasonable prices and the place has a decent buzz. Food's solid, nothing mind-blowing, but fine for a quick casual bite. Service was efficient enough.

Food's solid and service was quick, but the tables are a bit cramped. Nice vibe overall though, maybe not ideal if you've got little kids with you.

Stopped here after shopping and grabbed the half-and-half pizza. Good way to try two flavours without committing to a full one. Bases are thin and clay-oven baked, which I liked. Portion was decent for the price, though I did leave wanting one more slice. Fine for a casual bite, nothing fancy.

Been coming here for a while now, and honestly the view still gets me every time. Had the grilled hake and calamari again—fish was cooked right, calamari tender. Service was quick, no complaints there. Place itself is a bit plain inside, but you're not really looking at the walls when you've got that scenery in front of you. Solid spot if you know what you're here for.

The fusion rolls were the star — super creative combos I haven't seen elsewhere. Hit up the Wed/Thu buffet if you can, decent deal for the variety. Place looks way sleeker than your average Asian spot too.

We came for a family thing and Dev sorted us out properly. Food was fresh, loads of flavour, everyone was happy. I had a glass of the house red with the grilled fish, worked well together. Only small thing, service slowed down a bit when it got busy. But the whole evening ran smooth, no complaints from the table.

Came for the beer, stayed for the friendly service. Trish and Smally really looked after us. Cold glasses for the beer were a nice touch. Prices are fair for what you get.

Came here for a quick dinner and honestly the portions caught me off guard — in a good way. Got the mapo tofu and it was proper spicy, the kind that wakes you up. Place itself is nothing fancy, just tables and chairs, but who cares when the food’s this solid. Would go back if I’m craving something simple and filling.

The keshawari naan was the highlight for me—soft, slightly sweet, and it went so well with the Hyderabad lamb. Menu’s easy to read, spice warnings are helpful. Prices felt fair for what you get. I’d go back just for that naan, honestly. Maybe ask for extra sauce on the side though.

Ordered a bunch of platters for a work thing. Spread was solid, people kept asking where it was from. Only thing, sauce ran out quick and the wedges were on the smaller side. Would've liked a bit more of both.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and the staff were on point. Friendly, kept checking in, and one of them even told us about a voucher we didn't know we had. That saved us a bit of cash. Food was decent too, nothing fancy but solid. Place gets a bit busy around 7 though.

The seating area was pretty comfortable, nice vibe overall. Service was quick too, which I appreciated. Just wish the music was a bit lower, got a little loud after a while.

Anele looked after us properly for my daughter’s birthday. Kept checking in, made sure drinks never ran dry. Food was decent, nothing wild, but the service carried the whole night. Place got a bit loud later on, but that’s on us for booking a big group. Solid enough for a family thing.

The springbok sushi really stood out — such a unique flavour, still thinking about it days later. Place has a nice upscale buzz to it, though it did feel a bit lively for my taste. Service was friendly enough and we never felt rushed. Would come back for that dish alone, just maybe on a quieter evening.

We had a big group of 55 and Penny took such good care of us. She kept everything running smoothly without us having to ask. Really made the whole evening easy and comfortable.

The Bali-style setup caught me off guard, in a good way. Solid gin list and the food was reasonably priced. Desserts stole the show though. 🍸

The ambiance at Aurum is truly special, making it a great spot for celebrations, although the food could be elevated to match the beautiful setting.

Came here for a quick bite and sat upstairs on the patio. The view over Grant Avenue is really nice, especially late afternoon. Waitress was friendly and checked on us a few times. Food came out quick, though the portion was a bit smaller than I expected. Still, a decent spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

Stopped by for lunch last week. The garden setting is really nice, ducks swimming in the pond while you eat. Pizza was solid, not fancy but good. They bring bottles of their own jalapeño and chili sauce to the table so you can add as much heat as you want. That was a nice touch. Place was a bit busy but fine.

The pita was soft and warm, filled generously. Tzatziki tasted fresh too. Solid spot for a relaxed lunch, though it did get a bit busy around noon.

Came for an early breakfast and ended up staying way longer than planned. Coffee was ready at 7am which is perfect for me. Queen looked after us really well. The Turkish bread is honestly the best I've had around here, so soft and fresh. Just wish they had a bit more seating inside.

The vegetarian burger bowl was decent. Yellow fried rice with sweet corn, basil and halloumi had a proper kick to it, even at medium spice. Not bad for the price. Service was quick enough, though the place got a bit busy around lunch. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

Service was friendly, that’s for sure. Drive-thru took a bit longer than I’d like, but the food came out hot and fresh. The vibe inside felt calm, even with people moving around. I’d stop again if I’m in the area. Just wish the line moved a little faster.
