TheForkUserExactly what we were looking for. In the old quarter of Cannes, atmospheric street, nice room, great warm welcome. But of course it's always really about the food! House made Foie gras with fig chutney, outstanding. Pan fried scallops tender, flavorful! Entrecote with green pepper sauce was very good but the swordfish with a mango sauce was perfection. Lemon tarte was delicious but a bit too sweet whereas the three chocolates gateau: wonderfully subtle.

TheForkUserThis was my first time at this little restaurant for lunch. It is on a pedestrian plaza away from cars but very close to a large parking. We had the cote to boeuf. It was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The service was very good, with white table cloth.

Unfortunately both of the items were gone from the menu at the restaurant. We 0rdered the sliced beef on arugula, and although tasty, the meat was a bit tough in spots. But overall, a nice re staurant.

TheForkUserAnother lovely meal at Le Jess. I ordered the cheeseburger, it was delicious. My husband ordered the steak tartare, 3 large piles of it arrived. He said it was delicious too. When both enjoyed a bottle of rose wine and sparkling water. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Will recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

We can't wait to go back, but outside, to enjoy the terrace and the view. Just a little tip: it would be a good idea to redecorate your dining room; that would be a plus, and then I would have given you an overall score of 10/10.

安妮蔡A great restaurant, recommended by the landlord's girlfriend, located in a food area in cours estienne d'orves. Although we live next to the old port, next to the famous landmark restaurants, she suggested that we don't go to the restaurants on both sides. It's okay to have a cup of coffee when you are tired of walking around, but those are places where tourists go to eat. Such a recommendation is really right! I didn't expect to meet authentic recommendations from locals far away overseas. Although she didn't mention a specific restaurant, we walked to the square and Mr. Gourmet, who has a natural sense of smell for food, chose this one... This restaurant is famous for its steaks and wine list. The wine list alone has dozens of pages and more than 600 wines. We ordered beef tart tart, fillet steak and barbecue platter, plus a local IOP Syrah red wine. The wine was served very quickly, but I almost fell asleep while drinking and waiting for a long time. The dishes were not served yet. My sister and I couldn't help but sleep on the table for a long time before the dishes were served. In the end, when the steak was cut, it was a big surprise. The salad was also very good and fresh, and the vinaigrette was very well made... The bill for 4 people was 113 euros (including drinks). It was great, worth recommending, good value for money, and the wine list was also great

Our server, Noah was amazing explaining all the dishes, recommending, answering any questions on ingredients etc. Excellent experience, very good value for the quality of food and experience. Highly recommend

The cheese & meat platters among the best I ever had.The staff were super friendly and the restaurant has a warm family run ambience.It’s close to the metro tram & bus system, so easy to get to.Don’t miss going to see their meat, cheese @ wine store. If you are very lucky, one of the family, who are obviously and justifiably proud of it, may open the door a little to allow you to smell the amazing aroma inside. Amazing !We visited on our first evening here but I’m sure it will be the memorable highlight to our visit.
