TheForkUserWe were recommended this restaurant by some friends, and it did not disappoint. From start to finish everything was perfect, the food is all from sustainable and local sources, as is the wine. The attention to detail of each dish was impeccable, and each one came with it own story. We had the 7 course taster menu and would definitely recommend this little gem if you are ever in town.

TheForkUserMy husband and I went to the tea without knowing anything except the 30% discount. But we appreciated the staff welcome us and gave us very good recommendations. We ordered big mix and steak. Big mix is super. It is a big dish with several delicious pieces of different puffs. Steak is super good meat, tender and delicious. They cooked at the right time of medium rare which I liked most. Beers are good too.

TheForkUserWonderful food. Good service. We were in a small back room. A table set for 2 (us) and a long table set for ten. Every time someone from the larger table went for a smoke (often) or got up to talk to someone at the other end of the table I got a derriere in the face or bumped as they passed. The room was small. The larger party were very loud (the first 2 women to arrive drowned out our conversation). The bumping and loudness were the reason I only gave a 3 for ambiance. We left before dessert because I couldn't take the bumping anymore. Very unfortunate as I wanted to try one of the desserts. Would I go back? Probably....but not in that small room!

The problem is that it was my birthday dinner with my family, and this is not the first time that this has happened with bookings coming from TheFork.Everybody knows how discounts work everywhere, but some restaurant owners are trying to play a smart card here, saying that the desserts are not included, and besides we insisted that was not right, he (the manager or owner) prefers to have an unsatisfied customer and receive a bad review, than to loose 9€.TheFork should pay more attention and punish restaurants with that attitude.

TheForkUserMaruji is a small restaurant that serves traditional home-cooked Chinese food; frequented by many Chinese customers, it is a small, well-kept, quiet environment, with a very large menu and full of specialties that you will never find in an ordinary Chinese restaurant. The owner is kind, attentive and very efficient. It is a place where I love to return whenever I have the chance.

TheForkUserGreat experience. Exceptional welcome. All the staff were always kind and helpful. We were lucky enough to be assisted by Mrs. Rita who advised us on everything. Her suggestions were precious especially given the truly abundant portions. In the end, to avoid waste, she was very kind in preparing take-away for us. The food, in addition to being abundant, is also of quality and also on the plate it is well presented. The quality/price ratio is certainly excellent. A place to definitely keep in mind.
