TheForkUserThe food was beautiful although the chefs were miserable this was more than made up for by the fact that our server Jacks was simply amazing she was happy, polite, and funny and her customer service skills were simply above and beyond!
TheForkUserWe arrived a few minutes early but it wasn’t a problem, our table was ready for us. We got our drinks promptly and ordered from the two course lunch menu. The food was excellent freshly cooked and we didn’t have to wait long. Pudding was syrup sponge and I had it with ice cream, usually this is served on the plate and melts next to the hot sponge. The Harvester serves it in a metal bucket, so it stays cold. Our server was friendly and made suggestions on our food choices, we will definitely return.
TheForkUserLovely surroundings, staff, service and delicious food. Was a bit disappointed in the lunch menu choices but in the end it was all delicious. Would definitely go again.
TheForkUserThe staff and owners always make you feel very welcome and looked after. Special mention to the gentleman who looked after us today 8th June and he was working on his birthday . He’s a credit to the restaurant. Very attentive with a lovely manner , made the afternoon lovely. Also thank you to the owner ( lady with red hair ) she always makes time to chat and welcome everyone. Been coming for years and will continue. Excellent thank you
TheForkUserReally nice setting, great food. Will call again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TheForkUserAmbience was superb service exceptional a wonderful experience. My overseas guests were enchanted to experience a traditional hostelry. We will certainly visit again
TheForkUserNice lunch, good price, nice view of the river, staff attentive and pleasant, will re-visit at some point in the future. Would recommend for sure
TheForkUserHad. Really pleasant meal in a welcoming atmosphere. Unless you have a good appetite maybe don’t have the gammon, it’s great but quite big. Going again during my weeks break
TheForkUserI like this place.A note to the pastry chef...please put less biscuit base on the banana caramel slice you do. OR make the base with butter like a proper shortbread. The biscuit THIS time was too much. The last 2 times it was spot on. A spoon of creme chantilly would finish it off perfectly. It was Thursday night at 7pm...and FULL.That tells you a story on its own.The young girls on the restaurant staff team were excellent, esp ours. She read our table, looked at our faces, hence the service was excemplenary.Weldone. 👍
TheForkUserMy midweek visit to the River Wyre restaurant was very enjoyable. The staff were attentive and helpful. There was a real fire burning and my favourite cocktail was made to perfection. My slow cooked belly pork was delicious.
TheForkUserFantastic food! One of our favourite cuisines, staff are always lovely and welcoming, would highly recommend James and Kirstin
TheForkUserAmazing food shared a fish starter which was excellent and pasta main fab, attentive waiting on staff friendly and helpful, will be back
TheForkUserWe’re visiting from Liverpool for the weekend, so we were not sure what to expected but the Top Bank was a find. The food was fresh, tasty and well presented. We had the house white wine which was really nice and they have a selection of cocktails. Service was lovely efficient but you didn’t feel rushed. Only issue was it was fully booked the next night as I wanted to try more of the menu.
