Pumpkin ginger soup was the standout. Owner knows his wine too, gave us a solid pairing. Chestnuts were good but a bit sweet for me.

The onion soup was honestly the best I’ve had in ages, so rich and comforting. Beef tartare was solid too. Great spot for a chill catch-up with friends, though it’s a bit fancy for a casual Tuesday 😄

The pistachio gelato was rich and creamy, exactly how I like it. A solid spot for a sweet treat in Zagreb.

Lovely outdoor garden seating. Had a business lunch here, pretty chill vibe. Interior's got that old-school charm, kinda unique. Food was decent, nothing mind-blowing but solid.

Cevapi with fries hit the spot—grilled just right, not dry at all. Came back a second time during the trip, still consistent. Service was quick, prices fair for what you get.

The owner still remembers us after all these years—even brought water for my dog. That personal touch is why I keep coming back.

The roasted pepper štrukli was creamy and cheesy, really good. Staff were friendly too. Place had a nice local feel, nothing fancy but solid.

Steak and sushi were both solid. Around 10 PM it turns into a lounge with louder music, so don't come for a quiet talk. Street parking was easy. Staff spoke English fine.

The tagliatelle here is the real deal. Handmade, thick, chewy, and the ragù actually sticks to the pasta. That’s all I really care about. Wine was cheap too, which helps. Pizza’s got a thick crust, pretty filling, but honestly I’d skip it next time and just get another plate of the tagliatelle.

Stopped by late after a long day of driving, glad they were still open. Had the grilled octopus and a glass of Malvazija—nice pairing, the wine cut through the olive oil nicely. Dessert was a bit much after all that, but I managed. Service was friendly, no rush to kick me out. Solid spot if you're in the area and need a proper meal.

The chilaquiles missed the mark—came out more like a cheesy casserole, not what I expected. But that black bean soup was spot on, really hit the spot. Not the most authentic Mexican spot around, but the food’s solid overall. A cold beer helped wash it down nicely.

Stopped by this plant-based place in Zagreb for lunch and honestly the daily menu was solid. Got the veggie plate—portions were big and the flavors actually worked together. Service was quick too, which I appreciated since I was in a bit of a rush. Nothing mind-blowing but a good spot if you want something fresh and filling.

The beef tenderloin here is easily the best I’ve had in Zagreb. Cooked exactly how I asked, juicy inside, decent crust on the outside. Price felt fair for what you get. Nothing fancy about the place, but I didn’t care. I’d come back just for that steak again.

Good pizza and a solid wine list to match. Had the house red with a margherita—worked well. Place gets busy but the vibe stays relaxed. Fine for a casual bite.

Same interior, same recipes for decades. Dough was thin and properly baked, prices still fair. Feels like stepping back in time, honestly.

The food was solid, and the staff were genuinely friendly—not the fake kind of nice. I liked that they didn't rush us, even when it got busier later. My seat was comfortable too, which always matters to me. Just a small thing: the service was a bit slow at the start, but once we ordered, everything came out fine.

Service was the highlight. Waiter knew the menu, picked a solid local wine for us. Food came out fast, no long wait. Had the grilled fish, cooked right. Place was busy but we never felt rushed. Good spot for a casual dinner. Maybe a bit loud by the window, but fine.

Came here for a special dinner and the langoustine risotto was the highlight. Duck was solid too. Forest setting is pretty unique for Zagreb. Bit pricey but fine for what it is.

Came here for a quick dinner and honestly the retro vibe got me. Eighties music playing in the background, old-school decor everywhere. Prices are a bit high for what you get, but the atmosphere makes up for it. Had their signature dish and it was decent, nothing mind-blowing though. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The homemade blood sausage and mlinci were spot on—really hearty and full of flavor. Desserts were good too, though I wish I’d saved more room for them.

The ajran here is something else—never seen it at other kebab spots in town. Cold, tangy, perfect with the spicy chicken wrap. Wish the wrap was a bit bigger though.

The Fantasia de pollo salad was solid, and that Rustica pizza with the mozzarella really hit the spot. Terrace is spacious and chill, music was a nice touch. Good for a laid-back bite.

The lighting here is so warm and moody — instantly felt more special than I expected. Sea bass was spot on, wine list solid. Just wish the tables weren't so close together.

The kebab here is solid—lots of meat, properly grilled, not dry at all. I grabbed a quick lunch and it hit the spot. Staff were friendly enough, didn't have to wait long. Seating's pretty basic though, plastic chairs and all, but for a quick bite that's fine. If you're after a proper sit-down meal, maybe look elsewhere.

The grilled fish here was properly done — crispy skin, juicy inside. Paid way less than I would've on the coast, which honestly surprised me. Local wine paired nicely too. Place was quiet when I visited, just a few tables. Not fancy at all, but it felt right.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Burger was solid, bun held up nicely and the meat tasted fresh. Truffle fries were the real deal though, plenty of that earthy flavor. Portion size is decent for what you pay. Not mind-blowing, but it hits the spot when you're hungry and don't want to think too hard.

Found this place right by our hotel. Food was solid, portions are big. The chocolate cherry dessert really stood out. Staff knew their wine list well. Only thing - seating felt a bit cramped, but for a quick dinner it worked fine.

Been coming here for a while now. Lasagne's still solid, and the place keeps that cozy feel. Prices haven't gone crazy either, which I appreciate.

Been coming here for over ten years now. The dough is light, never sits heavy, and they keep coming up with topping combos I haven't tried anywhere else. Service is fast most days, but weekends can get a bit hectic. Still, that's the price for a place that stays this consistent.

The large cevapi plate is seriously big for €10.50. Meat was juicy, bread nicely toasted. Just wish we'd ordered extra ajvar—one portion didn't stretch far enough.
