A nice surprise that our dog was allowed inside. The staff were really chill about it, and he settled right under our table. Made the whole lunch feel relaxed.

Came by on a packed Sunday. The staff were so lovely despite the rush. I found a quiet corner by the window, just watching the light filter through the plants. It felt like a little escape in the middle of all the bustle.

Great for a big group lunch. We pre-ordered and everything came out hot and fast. Staff were on it, handled the bill split without any fuss. Made the whole thing easy.

Always get the pork & stuffing baguette here. It's just that good. Can be a bit of a wait for a table though.

Helen at the bar is so friendly and really knows her stuff. She suggested a great non-alcoholic option for me.

Convenient canoe parking right by the river was a nice touch. The whole riverside setting just felt so relaxed and peaceful while we ate.

Been meaning to try this place for ages. Had lunch in the garden, which was lovely. The fish and chips were spot on - crispy batter, proper chunky chips. Staff were friendly, no rush. A bit pricier than the chippy down the road, but you get what you pay for.

The food was solid and cocktails were decent. But honestly, the portions felt a bit small for the price. I left still feeling a bit peckish.

A really nice pub, the portions are huge. We had the garlic mushrooms to start and honestly felt full after that! The seats were comfortable though, which was a plus.

Popped in on a Tuesday night with a couple of friends. The staff were so lovely - they pointed out a few dishes we'd totally have missed. Made for a really fun, relaxed catch-up. The vibe was just right for a low-key group hangout.

A solid spot for families. The kids menu was decent, and they kept our little one busy with crayons and paper. Danni and Andrea were friendly and helpful. The high chairs were a bit wobbly though.

The chicken shashlick had such fresh, vibrant spices. Really enjoyed the quality of the ingredients.

Been here a few times. It’s a nice, relaxed place where you can bring your dog. The food is solid, especially for the price. Had to wait a bit for our order, but it’s usually like that when it’s busy.

My wife and I went for dinner on a Monday night. The pub wasn't too busy which was lovely. We were quickly seated and attended to. Drinks were ok but the startes and sharing plates were great! Well seasoned and presented. Highly recommend the chicken karaage. Our mains were generously sized but a bit lacking in flavour. We had pork belly (saved by the tasty sauce) and sea bass (needed salt). All in all a lovely meal and we would visit again if in the area.

Ollie was so on top of things tonight. Knew exactly when to check in and gave a great tip on the wine pairing for the lamb. Made the whole thing feel really relaxed.

A proper local pub, and they're very welcoming to dogs - even had treats for our spaniel. Nice to see. The pale ale on tap was a solid choice, went well with the simple ploughman's lunch. Could do with a few more craft options on the menu though.

Sat outside by the canal, which was lovely. The selection of ales on tap was decent, and they had a nice stout that paired well with the relaxed vibe.

Lovely spot by the river for a drink. Sat outside in the sun. My cocktail was nice, but honestly, a bit steep for the size of the glass. Felt a little short-changed on the portion there.

Booked ahead for a Saturday evening, which was necessary. The place was packed. Service was efficient despite the crowd, and our order arrived promptly. The steak was cooked as requested. Good for a reliable meal when you need a table secured.

Kal was our waiter, really nice guy. Service was spot on, didn't feel rushed at all. He knew the menu well, gave us a straight answer on the specials. Makes a difference when the staff are like that.

The Guinness here is pretty good, probably the best I've had in Shifnal. A decent spot for a quiet pint, and the staff are friendly. It's nice that they allow dogs inside too.

Lovely spot upstairs from the pub, feels very cosy. The lighting was a bit flickery, but it was still a really relaxed evening. Just the kind of place where you can settle in and not feel rushed.

Been coming here for a while. The food is always solid, never had a bad meal. They switch up the menu quite often, so it doesn't get boring. My only gripe is that sometimes a favourite dish disappears!

The staff here are so lovely. They remembered our table was celebrating a friend's new job and brought over a little extra dessert on the house. Really thoughtful touch that made the night. Service is definitely their strong point.

The wine list had some nice options to pair with our meal, and the bill came to about £75 for three courses. Good value.

The welcome was lovely, but I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients were in my salad. Everything tasted so crisp and vibrant.

Hidden behind the Victory Inn, in a quiet courtyard. Mehede and the team were just so attentive all night. Felt really looked after.

The staff were so helpful with the menu and made a lovely vegetarian option for me. Really appreciated their attention.

The burritos are fantastic, and they have a surprisingly good selection of local craft beers to go with them. A solid spot.

The Sunday thali is the one to get. The banana leaf presentation is nice, but it's the food. Sambar had a deep, slow-cooked flavour, and the coconut chutney was fresh and sharp. The fish curry was the standout, perfectly spiced and not too heavy. A solid feed.
