The open kitchen in the restaurant is equipped with a proper charcoal grill and a kiln grill, and the grilled food is very tasty. As for recommendations, the turmeric and tarragon chicken tikka with fresh gravy and the flashed-grill rocket oysters are the best. There are also Indian flatbreads freshly made from the kiln grill, which are rich in onion and garlic flavor and have a slightly chewy taste. The vegetarian food is not amazing, but the combination of novel ingredients is harmonious. After a round of grilled food, it is appropriate to order a chicken and apricot briyani made with aged Indian fragrant rice, accompanied by a small bowl of pomegranate and brooding raita dotted with rose petals, and the strong taste in your mouth will turn into light and elegant in an instant. Overall rating: Delicious and ambience/high score, unique Indian cuisine, worth a visit. Unfortunately, it is slightly below my expectations for a one-star restaurant.Restaurant Story

To be able to watch the a dozen chefs cook and prepare 14 courses in front of you is an incredible experience. It’s got 2 Michelin stars, and both very well deserved. A word of warning for anyone who decides to drive allow a little extra time to find parking as it did take us about ten minutes to find somewhere. When we got to the restaurant, it was well worth the extra time. The atmosphere is lovely and felt very Covid secure. The welcome was warm and the tables were nicely set apart. The menu is on first sight quite simple but the combinations of flavours when the dishes arrive are sublime. There are no offers for side dishes and quite frankly you don’t need them. The signature starter dish of the ravioli was fabulous as was the beef with leeks.GYMKHANA

Duck Benedict｜I love everything about duck meat! In fact, this waffle is not inferior to the signature one. And the taste is richer. Poke the golden runny duck egg and let the egg liquid soak into the minced duck meat and the fluffy and crispy waffle at the bottom. Then dip it in the surrounding Hollandaise sauce and Sriracha chili sauce. The bold combination of creativity makes people shine~
Sweet Waffle｜The sweet waffle chooses a combination of blood orange and vanilla ice cream. The unique sweetness of blood orange makes the overall taste not too burdensome. Looking at the current menu, this dish should be removed due to different seasonal fruits. But there are other fruit combinations that are worth trying.

寻春问腊到蓬莱If you want to experience authentic Chinese food from the perspective of foreigners, this is a good choice. The small restaurant, with Chinese and Western decoration, feels a bit like a Parisian restaurant. The waiters all speak standard London accents and provide proper Western service. I remember that only the boss spoke Chinese. Compared with the early stir-fried chop suey in Chinatown Chinese restaurants, this is definitely authentic Chinese food. This restaurant is highly respected among foreigners in London.
18-course Chinese food! The meal is eaten bite by bite, a bit like eating Japanese New Year's Eve dinner. There is no menu, except for the main course (you have to ask the waiter for this, but it cannot be guaranteed, it depends on the ingredients of the day) you can eat whatever you like, it is really up to the host. I felt that I was not full at the beginning, and I really couldn't eat it in the end. The only drawback is that we were full on the weekend, the dishes were a bit messy, and the dishes served later were not spicy enough. Of course, foreigners don’t like to eat food that is too hot, and it is common to add ice to noodle soup, so the food may not be hot because of the consideration for foreign customers. We did the tasting menu and each course was so unique - we would definitely come back and do it again. Favourite course has to be the scallops but it was hard to pick! The staff were also a delight and took the time to make us feel welcome. Thank you!
