TheForkUserFood was good and nicely presented. Service was fast and attentive at least in the early night. They handled well all the orders, even if we were a big group of 16 people.Minus points for not being able to share the bill for more than 2 credit cards (we were 12 households from 8 different countries, so we had to do the money laundering after, that should be part of the restaurant’s good service)
TheForkUserGreat! Few selections and quality was fine. Salad selections were good! It can be better.
TheForkUserFood was great.
TheForkUserWe had an outstanding meal after getting stuck overnight in a Madrid airport hotel. Found this gem of a restaurant online and the service from Valeria was outstanding, very friendly, spoke great English and explained everything to us. The owner Mr Cayyetano was a gregarious host who spoke to us about the wine we ordered and brought us better wine glasses. When we were done he offered a free apperatif of McCallen Scoth and a Cava for my wife. The pate and gazpacho were top notch and the Spanish pork and Hake fish dinners we had were superb. This is an outstanding restaurant, when in Madrid don’t miss it. It is worth a taxi ride from downtown to dine in this neighborhood establishment!
_TI***qmI was impressed by the quality of the food and the friendly service. The nachos and burgers were particularly fantastic!
TheForkUserA very warm welcome from the waitress. Then I saw how dedicated and knowledgeable she was in explaining the menu as it was vegetarian options and even had a pleasant surprise of a very good dessert. Congratulations to Eva, who is excellent! Thank you very much for your service.
TheForkUserThis is a rather splendid place to have a meal, and the meal was splendid. The rooms are in the 16th century students hostel with great oak beams, chandeliers and a massive fireplace. It has such charm. The staff were bilingual (probably multi-lingual) and pleasantly attentive. The dishes are well presented and delicious. The portions are more than ample so go hungry. One of the best.
TheForkUserWe were so impressed by this little restaurant! We could not have done better finding a place for lunch! The service was one of the best we had during our trip! Not only the waitress was nice, informative and professional, the cook came out to see if we were satisfied with the food. We wanted a paella and we had a “superb” paella! Not only that, it was included in the menu of the day! We had an appetizers, a started, the paella, bread with alioli, and… a tray with four different kind of desserts! 39.00 euros por two people. What a deal!
TheForkUserWe had a great time! The house nachos were amazing, way better than expected and the waitress went above and beyond for our group. Despite being the only staff serving tables and working the bar, she had our food and drinks super fast and was attentive and just a total professional. Our only complaint is the burritos were on the small side and not nearly as full as normal Mexican burritos should be. My advice would be to skip the burritos altogether cuz everything else, quesadillas etc was a good amount and tasted incredible! Definitely will return!
TheForkUserFood was just about ok. Nothing special. Paella was really disappointing, meat not very good quality & very strange vegetables used (courgettes in a mixed paella, new one on us !!!)
TheForkUserA really nice surprise in the centre of Barajas, this modern restaurant fusionates different foods from different cuisines in a very interesting way. It also has a terrace.
TheForkUserNo doubt it has one of the best tuna tataki in Madrid. Everything from the menu is well prepared and nicely served.
TheForkUserGood food. Fun experience for the kids with the robot
TheForkUserThe staff was very welcoming even though we were 30 minutes early. They were looking after us beautifully. My partner isna coeliac and they were able to help him choose the right dishes. The food was deliciousm and well presented. We both had the Pumpkin soup and it was very tasty. The cod cooked perfectly.
TheForkUserWho would think you could find such a great restaurant close to an airport? We had done the tapas thing for two weeks, so we were keen to have a different cuisine. Chitoro is a funky place with a superb menu. Highly, highly recommend!
TheForkUserDelicious, original food and great service. Loved the scallops in particular. We ended up going two nights in a row. Very small but good and interesting selection of wines.
TheForkUserVery good an several options.. food presented very well. Tasting very nice. Only issue we had was internet was not working and we could not access the online menu.
TheForkUserWe had a very pleasant time, service was great and we enjoyed our dinner. The food was good and the offer made it worth it.
_TI***nxThis place is a gem! The staff is lovely, and everything we tried was delicious. It's definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for a great meal.
