The sweet potato, lentil & coconut soup was a standout. Really fresh, full of flavour. Perfect for a quick, satisfying lunch. Service was efficient, got my order in and out without a fuss. Good spot for a working meal.

Decent spot with handy free parking out back for an hour. The pasta was pretty good, though the sauce was a touch heavy for my taste. Fine for a quick lunch.

The mixed grill here is a solid choice. The lamb and chicken skewers were cooked just right, not dry at all. The saffron rice was a nice touch, really brought it together.

Warm, family-run spot. The owner came by twice just to check if we were enjoying the pasta. That personal touch you don't get everywhere. Felt genuinely looked after.

The pizza was piping hot, crust had a nice crisp. Went with a light red wine, really brought out the herbs on the toppings. Staff were quick and friendly. Solid spot for a casual bite.

A real find for dog owners! My pastrami sandwich was incredible, the meat was so tender and flavourful. The staff were lovely with my pup, too. A bit pricey for a sandwich, but worth it for the quality.

Been coming here for years. Staff are friendly and always remember my no-dairy request. Food's decent, prices are fair.

Cozy little neighbourhood place. We had the lasagne, which was properly cooked - you could tell the pasta sheets were homemade. Good portion for the price. A solid, comforting meal.

Good selection of bagels and wraps. The smoothies are homemade, which is a nice touch. I liked that the seating was comfortable and spaced out, made for a relaxed lunch.

Popped in for lunch after arriving at Central Station. The staff were so friendly and efficient, which made the whole experience really smooth. I had the chicken sandwich, and it was just what I needed. A very comfortable and easy stop.

Came here for a casual lunch with friends. The parsnip soup was so good - really fresh and creamy. Menu had a nice mix of sandwiches and local Scottish stuff. Perfect spot for a catch-up, though it did get a bit loud when it filled up.

Been coming here for years, and their chicken satay is still a solid choice. The peanut sauce has a nice kick, and the chicken's always tender. A bit pricier than it used to be, but you get what you pay for.

Lovely spot for a lazy Sunday catch-up. We grabbed a table in the garden and it was just perfect with the sun out. The menu had loads of interesting options, which made choosing tricky in the best way!

It's always packed, but they managed to get our order in quickly. The staff were genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience feel very relaxed.

Been coming here for years, and the consistency is what keeps me coming back. The doggie breakfast for our pup is such a thoughtful touch, makes the whole outing easy. Food's always spot on.

Came by late, buffet was still surprisingly fresh. Good selection of hot dishes and salads. The roast chicken was still juicy, which was a nice surprise.

A nice spot for a morning coffee. The staff are friendly and offered a free scone with my order, which was a pleasant surprise. The scone itself was decent, though a little on the dry side.

The takeaway arrived super fast and was still hot, even for our big group. Good value for the price.

The fish and chips were pretty good. The batter was nice and crispy, and the fish itself tasted fresh. Service was friendly, though the wait was a bit longer than expected.

The seared scallops were the star for me - perfectly cooked, with a lovely caramelised crust. Paired nicely with a local craft beer. The steak pie looked good too, but those scallops are what I'll remember.

Been coming here for years, and the generous portions are the main reason. Always leaves me with lunch for the next day. It's just consistently good value.

The stew was the star, rich and deeply flavoured. The garlic mash underneath had just the right amount of garlic, not overpowering. It all came together really well. The coffee afterwards was a good, strong cup, which was exactly what I wanted.

Been coming here for years, it's a solid local spot. The staff always check in on you, not just once but a few times during the meal. Makes you feel looked after. Food's always reliable, nothing fancy but gets the job done.

The vegan and gluten-free options are a nice touch, especially for breakfast. Menu's got a bit of everything without breaking the bank. My veggie scramble was solid, though the GF toast was a bit dry.

Found a taste of home here. The poutine was just like I remember from back in Canada. Quick and satisfying lunch.

Stopped by for a quick tea. The Earl Grey in a china mug was lovely. Plenty of seating inside and out, which is always a plus.

A cosy little place just a short walk from Central station. Perfect for a quick bite. I tried their haggis bonbons - crispy on the outside, really flavourful inside. Just what I needed on a drizzly afternoon.
