TheForkUserThis is a really great place for steaks!! And they may be really large, so be careful about what you order and you will have an excellent dinner at an acceptable price
TheForkUserThe most authentic restaurant in Rome I’ve been to with the best pizza in town. Highly recommend. Great service and great food. Grazie :)
TheForkUserwe booked via The Fork with 20% discount. when we got there told we had to sit inside or sit outside without the promised discount. We sat outside without the discount and the food and service were really good
TheForkUserThis place is a real gem. The food, the service, the atmosphere, all of it. We shared the calamari which was a very generous portion. I had the sea bass and my husband had the cod. Both were lovely. We finished with the pie which was delish! I would definitely recommend this wonderful restaurant.
TheForkUserWe had a really good lunch in this restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and jovial. The food was first class. We had the octopus, artichokes and seafood risotto. I would definitely return.
TheForkUserFantastic Food and great Service but it would be more fitting to have table cloths and no background music. All together a great experience! Especially the service regarding the wine was fantastic. I highly recommend this place!
TheForkUserThe food is good, and i love the steak, service is very nice
TheForkUserThis a favourite place in Rome. Always fantastic artichokes and trad roman dishes. Traditional ambience indoors and nice open area outdoors in lovely historic part of the city and great alternative to Trastevere
TheForkUserSimple restaurant but with very tasty food and well served dishes. We ordered la putanesca and la matriciana. The waiter was alone but he served us very well.
TheForkUserDon’t let the name fool you. It may sound English but it’s all Italia! Great spot in the San Giovanni neighborhood. Perfect for a late night meal. We made a dinner reservation for 10:30 pm after a long day in Rome and the place was still lively. Friendly staff and great Roman food.
TheForkUserExcellent food, ordered carbonara, Coniglio alla cacciatora, straccetti di semplici, and a custard based dessert. Really excellent quality, but for me, the rabbit was sublime! My daughter said the dessert was the best shed ever had! Service was very quick but we got there just before 8, and then it quickly filled up. You know you're at a good restaurant when 90% of the diners are Italian. One piece of advice, if you want to drink out of wine glasses, order a bottle of wine. The house red was very nice, but the wine glasses only come when a bottle is ordered because too many glasses get broken. I hope to visit this restaurant again soon.
TheForkUserexcellent service by waiter. asked for a variety of local appetizers and wine. waiter delivered a great variety of local Roman dishes.
TheForkUserOutstanding. It said to be 40€ per person and I’d say it’s 20€. Great service and food wrong directions registered on “the fork” website. Use Google maps for better instructions on how to they there.
TheForkUserGreat food, great service, well, great evening date with my husband! I will definitely come back, when I’m in Rome again.
TheForkUserI always go back with pleasure. The food , the service and the atmosphere are always very good.
TheForkUserEarly opening, quiet music, attentive and informative waiter, excellent pici nicely al dente, beautiful fillet steak with roast potatoes and a side of fried chicory! Gastronomic bliss!
TheForkUserFood, wine and service was excellent. Charcuterie boards such as those we enjoyed for 15 to 25 eur easily cost over $100.00 in the US.
TheForkUserExcellent little bar. We had the cheese and meat board, and it was delicious. Lots of new flavours to try, and plenty of food for two. Great wine, and lovely service.
TheForkUserThis is a great place, with exquisite interior and excellent service! The only disappointment was spaghetti alle vongole which were tasteless.
TheForkUservariety of food, but a lot of pork, maybe if you want to attract middleastern or non pork friendly should avoid puting it in each cuisine, but overall I would absolutely recommend it.
TheForkUserI've been visiting Okasan almost since its inception. The main dishes are exceptional and some are even better than a good restaurant in Japan, everything else is still incredibly good for being a Japanese restaurant in the middle of Italy. The chef never misses a beat and the experience as a whole is something you would wish to get back to every day. Best dishes: Salmon tataki, Curry udon soup, Nigiri flambé mix and Wagyu A5 (when available)
TheForkUserThe lady serving us was very knowledgeable and sweet. Great experience all in all. The food was amazing. A bit pricey but worth it! We’ll definitely be back.
TheForkUserOur server was friendly and the food was delicious! The homemade meatballs and the gnocchi were both fantastic. We also tried the Nutella filled dough for dessert and they were the perfect ending.
TheForkUserIt's a good place to have lunch or dinner. Not too far from Rome in a pleasant countryside. The food was quite lovely. We started with the "tagliere" which was full of a variety of italian kind of cheese and ham. Then we had a very well done "carbonara ".The menu is absolutely typical Roman and offers a good choice of dishes and drinks.
_TI***dlThis place is a regular stop for me in Rome! The combination of fabulous food and 5-star hospitality keeps me coming back for more.
TheForkUserWe had a wonderful meal at a very quaint and friendly restaurant in Rome. Beatricia was our best waitress, so friendly and a pleasure!!! We would return to this fun night!
