The salads were huge and really good. But the main course portions were even bigger, honestly too much for one person. Ended up taking half of it home.

Booked ahead, it's busy. The porterhouse was cooked just right, juicy inside. The beer selection had a few local brews I hadn't tried before.

The salmon starter was generous, a good portion. The foie gras was a nice surprise, though the toast it came with was a bit too crisp for my taste.

Nice spot. Staff were friendly, made the evening feel relaxed. Not cheap, but you're paying for the vibe. Would go back for a quiet dinner.

Got a table right away even though it was super busy! The mussels were really fresh, not your usual pub fare.

The kids' menu was a nice change. My little one had the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, which she enjoyed. It's a thoughtful option compared to the usual fare. Portions were decent for the price.

Loved the vintage vibe here. But what really stood out was the freshness of the ingredients. The greens in my salad were crisp, and the fish tasted incredibly fresh. You can tell they care about sourcing.

Stopped in for a quick drink after work. The 50cl beer was a solid deal for €8, perfect for a cold evening. Wine was decent too. Got me warmed up fast. Friendly spot, no fuss.

Been coming here for years, and those scones are the reason. Always the same perfect texture, warm and crumbly. Yeah, you might wait in line on a Saturday, but it's just part of the routine.

Been coming here for years, service is always solid. Saw the couscous special today, gave it a shot. Really good, hearty portion. Just what you want on a chilly day.

The student menu is a steal at €9. Got a burger, fries, and a drink. The vibe here is really chill, perfect for a casual lunch.

Great place. We enjoyed the ambience, food and hospitality. The restaurant was full and service speed a little slow. However we would all recommend this lovely restaurant

The Norman apple tart was the highlight. The crust had this perfect flaky texture, and the apples were just the right kind of sweet-tart. A lovely way to end the meal.

Service is always warm and welcoming. The staff remembered my usual wine preference, which is a nice touch. They're attentive without hovering. It feels like visiting a friend's place, honestly.

Quiet little place, white tablecloths, very calm. Had the pasta—solid, well-seasoned. Room’s small, so you’re not shouting over anyone. Food came out fine, nothing to complain about. Price felt fair for what you get. Would sit by the window again.

Surprise menu was solid. Chef knows what he's doing. Every plate came out clean, no fuss. Cozy spot, music was on point. Felt like a proper night out without trying too hard.

The tagliatelle al ragù was the real deal—properly rich and slow-cooked, not the watery stuff you usually get. I sat near the window and it felt pretty cozy, even if the chairs weren't the comfiest. Staff let me take my time with the menu, which I appreciated. Would go back just for that pasta.

Came for the Belgian beers—25+ taps and some proper classics. Cozy spot with old bottles everywhere.

The cheese fondue was solid and the place feels tucked away from the tourist crowds. Portion was big enough for two, though service took a bit. Cozy spot overall.

The medieval vibe is cool, ribs were juicy too. Bit touristy but food holds up. Book ahead though.

Stopped by for lunch on a workday. Entrecote was cooked properly, no complaints there. The homemade mayo with fries was the real standout though. Had the IV Saison beer too, fruity and easy to drink. Place was busy but service kept up fine. Solid choice if you're in the area and want a decent meal without fuss.

Went for the meatballs, they were solid. Price is a bit steep, €18 or so for a plate, but you can tell they use good meat. Place was busy, had to wait a bit for a table. Not somewhere I'd go every week, but fine for a treat now and then.

The terrace view over the water is lovely. Lobster was fresh and tasty, service friendly. Just wish the cellar seating had a bit more light.

Solid spot for real Italian food. Had the rabbit pasta - generous portion, cooked just right. Menu's small but that's fine, means they focus on what they do.

We had a booking mix-up and the staff sorted it out without making us feel awkward. That alone made the visit easy. I had the beef and Guinness pie, the meat was properly tender. The pastry held up well too. Portion felt generous for the price. Just a bit warm inside near the window, but nothing that ruined the meal.

Been coming here for a while now, and it’s still got that relaxed vibe. We brought our dachshund along, and they didn’t make a fuss—just brought water for him. The béarnaise sauce was fresh, not the packaged stuff. Dark ’n stormy hit the spot too. Place gets a bit loud later, but that’s on us for staying late.

Decent Italian spot in Ghent. The pasta was honest and well-made, hosts were friendly. Place got a bit busy but still a pretty good pick.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Pizza was solid, crust had a good chew and the toppings weren't shy. Place fills up fast. Service dragged a bit, but I wasn't in a huge rush. Fine for a casual bite if you've got time to kill.
