The steak was exactly medium-rare, just how I like it. That's a win for a first visit. The rest was fine, but getting the main right is what matters.

Good for a group dinner. We ordered a few different dishes and drinks, all fresh and well-received. The vibe is lively, though service was a bit slow when we needed the bill.

Quick lunch spot. They speak English which helps. Got the chicken sandwich. Came out fast, good for a quick bite. A bit pricey but convenient.

Nice central spot, easy to find. Had the grilled salmon, it was cooked just right, not dry at all. Good for a quick, solid meal. The place was pretty busy though, a bit loud for my taste.

The pizza was decent and the pasta portion was generous for the price. I was hoping for a more interesting dessert menu, but it was pretty standard. Still, you get a good amount of food here.

We went for the set menu, just to keep it simple. Good mix of meat and veggie stuff, plenty of food for two. The injera is what makes it, really. Place gets busy around 7, so either come early or be ready to wait a bit. Not fancy, but the food speaks for itself.

The Irish coffee was pretty good—strong enough to do the job. Location’s right in the middle of Ghent, which is hard to beat for a quick stop. Classic brasserie feel, nothing fancy. Just a decent spot to sit for a bit and watch people go by. Maybe a little busy at times, but fine for what it is.

Lovely old-school interior, really feels like stepping back in time. Staff were friendly enough. The savoury scones were the highlight though, proper good. Worth grabbing one if you're in the area.

Eggs Benedict at the brunch buffet were actually done right. Unlimited setup makes it worth the money. Owner came by our table, seemed genuinely nice. Place was busy but we got seated quick. Solid spot if you're in the area and want a proper brunch without the fuss.

Came for lunch and tried the Thai beef salad. The beef was juicy, pretty fresh, though the dressing ran a bit salty for me. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Decent spot if you're in the area and want something light.

Been coming here for a while now. The staff still remembers my usual order, which says a lot. Food's been consistent every single time, that's mainly why I keep going back. Place is small but that's part of the charm. Service is always friendly, never felt rushed. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The hot chocolate was decent and the little square location is nice. Matcha came out a bit lumpy, but fine for a quick drink.

Stumbled in here on a whim and the vibe is definitely warm + classy. Steak was a letdown though, a bit chewy for the price. But the welcome was super friendly and the spot is right in the center, so that saves it. Would come back for drinks maybe, not the meat.

The grilled meat was properly charred and juicy, exactly how I like it. Place had a nice buzz to it, nothing fancy but decent for a casual bite.

Been coming here for 15 years. Quality never dropped once. That consistency is why I keep returning.

Solid burgers, fresh toppings, and those fries really steal the show. Just wish I'd known about the cash-only policy before I got there—had to run to the ATM.

Great pizza and the beer list was solid. Service kept things moving, prices fair for what you get.

Nice spot, good location. Had the vol au vent and mussels - both tasty, fries were solid. The homemade cheese croquette starter was the highlight though. Service friendly enough.

The salmon tartare was so fresh and light, perfect for sharing with friends. We ended up ordering a second round because it disappeared so fast! The vibe was relaxed, great for a long catch-up.

The moussaka here tasted like the one I had in Greece, so that already won me over. I came with my little cousins and the staff didn’t mind them at all, which was a relief. Cozy spot in Aalst, felt pretty authentic. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger, but I’d still go back.

The staff were really friendly. I enjoyed the food, especially the grilled salmon. The craft beer selection was solid too. A nice spot for a relaxed dinner.
