Tried their local beers and really liked them. Nice little spot to get a feel for the Flemish countryside. Wish they had a few more snack options though.

The pizza and bruschetta were fresh, no complaints there. Cozy spot but got a bit chilly inside. Service was friendly enough.

The chef came out to explain each course himself, which I thought was a nice touch. Flavors were really well balanced from start to finish. The Michelin star makes sense to me. Only tiny thing—the pacing felt a bit quick between dishes, would've liked a breather. But overall a solid dinner.

Buffet in the park did the job for a hungry afternoon. Some dishes were solid, others meh. Fine for the price, just don't expect every plate to wow you.

The mango lassi Zain suggested was fantastic. He was really attentive about the spice levels, too. But honestly, for the portion size of the main curry, the price felt a bit steep.

The Doppio was solid, pulled just right. Americano too, actually. Staff were friendly without hovering, which I appreciated. Toilets were clean, always a plus in my book. Place has a certain calm to it, hard to describe. Just felt comfortable sitting there with my coffee, watching the street. Nothing fancy, but it worked for me.

Wine list is small but they picked some good ones. Prices are a bit steep though. Still, the vibe and service made up for it.

Been coming here for years, and the salsa bar is the main reason. Love that they always have the yellow salsa on the tables. It's got that perfect kick without being too much. Just grab a chip and you're set.

We went for the set menu, just to keep it simple. Good mix of meat and veggie stuff, plenty of food for two. The injera is what makes it, really. Place gets busy around 7, so either come early or be ready to wait a bit. Not fancy, but the food speaks for itself.

Lovely old-school interior, really feels like stepping back in time. Staff were friendly enough. The savoury scones were the highlight though, proper good. Worth grabbing one if you're in the area.

Been coming here for a while now. The staff still remembers my usual order, which says a lot. Food's been consistent every single time, that's mainly why I keep going back. Place is small but that's part of the charm. Service is always friendly, never felt rushed. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Stumbled in here on a whim and the vibe is definitely warm + classy. Steak was a letdown though, a bit chewy for the price. But the welcome was super friendly and the spot is right in the center, so that saves it. Would come back for drinks maybe, not the meat.

Great pizza and the beer list was solid. Service kept things moving, prices fair for what you get.

The moussaka here tasted like the one I had in Greece, so that already won me over. I came with my little cousins and the staff didn’t mind them at all, which was a relief. Cozy spot in Aalst, felt pretty authentic. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger, but I’d still go back.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Zalm gratin was solid, creamy and cooked right. Price is fair for what you get. Staff didn't mess around, got me in and out fast. Place was busy but still quick. Fine if you need a decent bite without wasting your break.

Came in on a busy Friday night and the staff still found time to check on us a few times. Tuna dish was super fresh, like melt-in-your-mouth fresh. Only thing is we waited a bit for the table, but honestly worth it. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends. 😊

Stopped by for a beer after work. Decent selection, nothing crazy but solid. Sat outside on the terrace, weather was nice so that was a plus. Place wasn't too busy yet. Fine for a quick drink, wouldn't go out of my way for it though.

The mushroom ravioli was honestly the highlight — big portion, I couldn’t finish it and they packed it up without any fuss. Nice for a casual dinner with friends, nothing fancy but solid. Maybe a bit quiet for a Friday night, but that’s fine if you want to actually talk 😄

The local specials here are solid. I grabbed the daily plate and it came out fast, which is exactly what I needed. Place has that small neighborhood vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable. Prices are fair for the portion you get. Good spot if you're in a hurry and want something real without the fuss.

The staff here were really friendly and took time to explain where the wine and food came from. I appreciated that, made the meal feel a bit more personal. Seats were comfortable too, which always matters to me. Nothing fancy, just a relaxed place to eat without any hassle.

The terrace is a lovely spot for a summer evening. It's not huge, but the string lights and the gentle hum of the city make it feel just right. A bit of a wait for a table, but worth it for that relaxed, easy-going vibe.
