The tasting menu with wine pairings was a fun journey. The scallop course and its paired Riesling were a standout match.

The decor here is so cute! Love the little Pinocchio details and the brick walls. It's the perfect cozy spot for catching up with friends over a long dinner. We stayed for hours and never felt rushed.

Loved the terrace, perfect for a sunny day. The traditional dishes were spot on, really flavorful.

Been here a few times now. The pizzas are consistently good, thin crust and well-topped. Atmosphere is relaxed, not too loud. Makes for a reliable dinner option.

Stumbled upon this spot checking Google. It's tucked away a bit, which I like. Daily menu's smaller than expected, but the wines by the glass are good. Had a nice glass with my pasta.

Charming spot with a lovely terrace. Ordered the steak frites, it was a generous portion for the price. Could easily share or take some home. The sunny patio was a nice bonus, but honestly, the value on the main dish is what stood out.

Nice beer garden with a view of the cathedral. I appreciated that they had a couple of lighter, low-ABV options available.

Loved the four cheese pizza here! Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends. The beer was really good too. We're vegetarians, so it's nice to find a spot with solid options.

Came here twice on my trip. The fish dishes are pretty good — salmon and cod with risotto were cooked nicely. The place has a lively vibe, service is friendly. A solid choice for a casual dinner.

Stopped by on a whim. The food was genuinely good—simple but tasty. Service was quick and friendly. A solid spot for a casual meal.

The salmon starter was generous, a good portion. The foie gras was a nice surprise, though the toast it came with was a bit too crisp for my taste.

Loved the vintage vibe here. But what really stood out was the freshness of the ingredients. The greens in my salad were crisp, and the fish tasted incredibly fresh. You can tell they care about sourcing.

Been coming here for years, and those scones are the reason. Always the same perfect texture, warm and crumbly. Yeah, you might wait in line on a Saturday, but it's just part of the routine.

Been coming here for years, service is always solid. Saw the couscous special today, gave it a shot. Really good, hearty portion. Just what you want on a chilly day.

The student menu is a steal at €9. Got a burger, fries, and a drink. The vibe here is really chill, perfect for a casual lunch.

Service is always warm and welcoming. The staff remembered my usual wine preference, which is a nice touch. They're attentive without hovering. It feels like visiting a friend's place, honestly.

Quiet little place, white tablecloths, very calm. Had the pasta—solid, well-seasoned. Room’s small, so you’re not shouting over anyone. Food came out fine, nothing to complain about. Price felt fair for what you get. Would sit by the window again.

Came for the Belgian beers—25+ taps and some proper classics. Cozy spot with old bottles everywhere.

The medieval vibe is cool, ribs were juicy too. Bit touristy but food holds up. Book ahead though.

Stopped by for lunch on a workday. Entrecote was cooked properly, no complaints there. The homemade mayo with fries was the real standout though. Had the IV Saison beer too, fruity and easy to drink. Place was busy but service kept up fine. Solid choice if you're in the area and want a decent meal without fuss.

The terrace view over the water is lovely. Lobster was fresh and tasty, service friendly. Just wish the cellar seating had a bit more light.

We had a booking mix-up and the staff sorted it out without making us feel awkward. That alone made the visit easy. I had the beef and Guinness pie, the meat was properly tender. The pastry held up well too. Portion felt generous for the price. Just a bit warm inside near the window, but nothing that ruined the meal.

Decent Italian spot in Ghent. The pasta was honest and well-made, hosts were friendly. Place got a bit busy but still a pretty good pick.

Nice hidden courtyard in the center. Quiet spot for a coffee, away from the tourist noise. Garden does most of the work. Service was fine, nothing special.

Loved the French-inspired decor and the playlist was spot on. Food tasted fresh but portions felt small for what you pay. Nice spot if you're in the center though.

The Karmeliet Grand Cru was the star of our beer crawl 🍺 Cool modern space too, made it feel different from the usual old-school bars.

The prawn in creamy sauce was the best thing we had. Cheese croquettes were so good we should've ordered another round. Cozy little place, nothing fancy, but the food speaks for itself. Only downside, it got a bit busy and loud by the time we finished. Still, I'd go back for those croquettes alone.
