Great welcome from the host who walked us through the menu. Came during the Crayfish Festival and the food was solid. Nice touch having a local beer pairing suggestion with the shellfish.

The single tables feel like little train compartments—kinda cool for a quiet dinner. Venison fillet off the daily specials was spot on, cooked just right. Service kept things moving even though the place was packed. Only thing, it gets loud once every table’s full, but that’s on us for coming at peak time.

Been here a few times now and the food never disappoints. Portions are proper size and everything comes out cooked right. Solid spot if you're in the area.

We popped in for a late afternoon snack and honestly, the chocolate milkshake was the highlight. So thick and rich. The staff were really patient too, even when we took our time deciding. Only tiny thing, the seating near the window is a bit cramped, but it was fine. I'd happily come back for a quiet treat.

Stopped by for a late lunch. The open kitchen view from my table was a nice touch. Went for the two-course set with a drink - solid choice for the price. Staff were quick and helpful.

I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. The food was really good, a nice taste of Africa. But the portions were a bit on the smaller side for the price, just a heads up.

The homemade food here is the real deal. You can taste the quality in the simple things, like the perfectly seasoned rice and the clean, deep flavor of the dashi broth. It's straightforward cooking done really well.

The V60 El Salvador was a nice change after all the espressos I'd been having. Place was quieter than other coffee spots nearby, so I could actually sit and enjoy it without rushing. Staff left me alone but checked in once, which felt right. Just wish the cup was a bit bigger for the price.

Stopped by for a late drink, ended up chatting with the owner about beer for way longer than planned. Place was quieter than the others around, which I didn’t mind. Good spot if you just want to sit and not shout over music. 🍺

The Kenyan filter coffee was poured properly—not too fast, not too slow—and it showed in the cup. Bright, clean finish. I paired it with a small pastry, though honestly the coffee held its own. Staff let me sit and read without hovering. Cozy spot, easy to lose an afternoon here. Would come back for that pour again.

Been coming here for months now. Coffee’s always fresh, never had a bad batch. The homemade cookies are a solid bonus too.

The mussels were spot on—cooked in white wine and garlic, exactly what I needed on a chilly evening. Staff were friendly enough, didn't have to wait long for a table. Only downside: the steak tartare missed the mark for me, a bit too tangy. Also, the restroom situation could be better, but I'd still come back for those mussels. 🐚

Cozy spot with a few different rooms—actually quiet enough to hear each other talk. Food was solid, staff friendly. Glad we stumbled in.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Set menu did the job — decent portions, didn't leave hungry. Staff were friendly enough, didn't have to wait long for the food. Place has a nice vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable. Fine if you're in the area and want something fast without the hassle.

The tacos here are solid. Got the burrito bowl too, flavors were on point. Hot sauce selection is a nice touch, tried a few of them. Prices fair for what you get. Not mind-blowing but decent for Ghent if you need a Tex-Mex fix.

Sunday brunch spot. Got the granola bowl, toast, and pancake stack. Solid quick bite. Staff were friendly, no fuss. Felt like decent value for the three courses. Got in and out without a long wait, which I appreciate.

Gluten-free friend got her own menu and proper bread without any fuss. Cocktails were lovely. Food held up on the second visit too.

The lunch bento boxes are a solid deal—food’s fresh and filling. Fried chicken and teriyaki chicken starters are good too. Just a heads-up, the place is tiny and gets cramped fast.

The pasta portions are huge for the price, about 12€. Just a simple, hearty plate. The staff had a nice, easy way about them.

Came here with a couple of friends after walking around the center. The vol-au-vent was really tasty, rich sauce and all. Portion looked kinda small at first but honestly it filled me up. Service was a bit slow cause it was packed, but we weren't in a rush so fine by me. Fair prices for the location too. Would pop back if I'm craving something hearty 😊

The food is consistently good, and the staff is genuinely nice. It's become my go-to spot in Lille for a quick, reliable bite.

Shrimp pad thai was solid. Flavors balanced, noodles had good bite. Menu's short but they do it right. Price felt fair for what you get. Place was busy at lunch but my order came out quick enough. No complaints.

The wine pairing suggestions were spot on, and the pacing between courses didn't drag. Enjoyed it, though I did wonder if the portions justified the bill.

Been coming here for years, and the carbonnade flammande is always spot on. That rich, slow-cooked beef stew with the refillable fries on the side... it's my go-to comfort dish. The local Reuze beer is a perfect match for it.

First time trying the French burrito here. The crepe wrap was surprisingly good, not too heavy. Filled with ham and cheese, it's a fun lunch option. A bit pricey for the size though.
