The pasta portions are huge for the price, about 12€. Just a simple, hearty plate. The staff had a nice, easy way about them.

The handmade ceramics and tableware really caught my eye. Nice to see a place putting thought into the details like that.

Came here with a couple of friends after walking around the center. The vol-au-vent was really tasty, rich sauce and all. Portion looked kinda small at first but honestly it filled me up. Service was a bit slow cause it was packed, but we weren't in a rush so fine by me. Fair prices for the location too. Would pop back if I'm craving something hearty 😊

The staff here are so lovely. They have this warm, genuine Italian energy that makes you feel right at home. Service is attentive without being overbearing, which I really appreciate. A very welcoming spot.

Giovanni was so friendly, made the evening really easy. The coq au vin was just right, not too heavy. A very comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a proper French meal.

A lovely spot in Valenciennes. I really appreciated the attention to ingredients. The vegetables in my main course were so fresh and vibrant, you could tell they were sourced well. The whole dish felt balanced and light, which is exactly what I look for. The portion was generous too. A very pleasant meal.

The food is consistently good, and the staff is genuinely nice. It's become my go-to spot in Lille for a quick, reliable bite.

Had a quick business lunch here. The service was really fast, which was perfect for my schedule. The setting is pleasant, with nice natural light.

The portions were generous, and I appreciated how they automatically offered a doggy bag. It's a thoughtful detail that helps reduce food waste. The prices are very reasonable for the amount you get.

The food was spot on—my duck was cooked perfectly and the plating looked great. Just the hostess and chef running the place, but they handled it well. Service was a bit slow though.

Shrimp pad thai was solid. Flavors balanced, noodles had good bite. Menu's short but they do it right. Price felt fair for what you get. Place was busy at lunch but my order came out quick enough. No complaints.

Decent spot for a proper meal. Portions are generous and the food was pretty good. Staff were friendly without hovering. Prices felt fair for what you get. Place was busy but we didn't wait too long. Fine if you're in the area and want something reliable.

The wine pairing suggestions were spot on, and the pacing between courses didn't drag. Enjoyed it, though I did wonder if the portions justified the bill.

Been coming here for years, and the carbonnade flammande is always spot on. That rich, slow-cooked beef stew with the refillable fries on the side... it's my go-to comfort dish. The local Reuze beer is a perfect match for it.

First time trying the French burrito here. The crepe wrap was surprisingly good, not too heavy. Filled with ham and cheese, it's a fun lunch option. A bit pricey for the size though.

Excellent bistronomic restaurant with a varied and elaborate menu. The setting is super nice, and the service is attentive, making it a great value for money.

Stopped by for a quick bite. The burger was solid, juicy patty and fresh bun. Hit the spot when you just need something simple and reliable.

Came with a big group and they managed it pretty well. Waiter actually took time to explain the menu, which helped. One dish was out but they suggested something else that worked fine. Food was solid, nothing crazy but decent. Place got a bit loud with everyone talking, but that's on us I guess.

The shrimp croquettes were nicely crispy, good flavor. But honestly, the price felt a bit much for the size. I had a few different ones and they all tasted pretty similar. The terrace is lovely though, and the staff were friendly. Just wish the portions matched the price a bit better. Nice spot to sit and watch people go by.

The set menu is a good deal. You get a main, a dessert, and a drink for the price. Portions are decent, definitely filling. It's a solid choice if you're looking for something straightforward and satisfying.

The portions here are huge, really generous. You can tell a lot of the dishes are made in-house, which I appreciate. It's a solid choice if you're looking for good value.

Steak tartare and the ribeye with maître d'hôtel sauce are consistently good. A reliable spot.

The new owners are so friendly, it really makes a difference. That cornbread was something else—moist, just a bit sweet. A lovely little spot.

Stopped by for lunch. The beef merlan was solid, fries cooked in beef fat had a nice crisp. Homemade sauces were the standout though, really good.

Came back for lunch after trying it yesterday. The pasta was just as good, still al dente. A bit more crowded this time though.

Been coming here for years. The chef still walks around and chats with regulars like me. It’s that consistency that keeps me coming back. The place just feels familiar.

Been coming here since I was a kid. The food is still just as good as I remember. What really stands out is the service—always so friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience feel effortless.

Friendly staff, English was fine. The food arrived hot and looked good. I liked the cozy Italian vibe. The wine list was decent, but I wish they had more local options to pair with the pasta.
