The sweet potato fries were so good, crispy outside and fluffy inside. Staff were really patient too.

Matcha was just right, not overly sweet. Really hit the spot on a hot day. Quick service for a takeaway drink. Good for a light, refreshing pick-me-up.

Cracking little find. Wanted something close to De Montfort Hall and this little gem did not disappoint. Welcomed by friendly and attentive staff, served with really decent quality food in good time and in a tastefully furnished area of the restaurant with a nice ambience. We will certainly be returning in the future.

The chorizo hash was a proper treat, really hit the spot. The Cosy Butchers Brunch was solid too. Good portion, kept me full for hours. Menu's got loads of choice for breakfast.

Generous portions, as always. They boxed up the leftovers without any fuss. The quality is pretty reliable, though the place can get a bit loud on weekends.

A lovely old pub, but what really stood out was the freshness of the ingredients in my salad. The greens were crisp and the chicken tasted so clean and well-prepared. It felt like a proper, healthy meal in a pub setting. A nice change from the usual.

The burger patty was cooked just right, juicy and flavourful. The bun held up well, not too soggy. Chips were decent, crispy outside. Could've used a touch more seasoning on the fries, but the main event was solid.

The chicken karahi was really flavourful. I appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted, especially the tomatoes and herbs. The chicken itself was tender, not overcooked at all. A solid choice if you're looking for something satisfying but not too heavy.

Came here for brunch with a couple of mates. The sweetcorn hash was spot on, and the eggs were cooked just right. Really liked how everything looked on the plate too. Good spot for a catch-up.

Been going here for years. They always have a few local ales on tap, which is nice. Good spot to catch a game, plenty of screens. It's a proper pub.

A nice, airy spot upstairs. Had a relaxed coffee and a fresh pastry, which was pretty good. The place has a pleasant, cozy feel to it.

Came for the live music night and the vibe was spot on for a catch-up with friends. The garden was a nice touch too.

Popped in for a quick bite. The staff were really friendly even though it was packed. Had the fish and chips, it was solid. Beer choice is a bit limited though.

Sebastian remembered us and our dog from last time. That personal touch really stood out. He was attentive without being overbearing, and his recommendations were spot on. Made the whole evening feel a bit more special.

Been a regular for a while now. The food's always spot on – really authentic Lebanese flavours. What I keep noticing is how clean the whole place is, from the tables to the floors. It just makes it a comfortable spot to eat.

Proper local pub, lovely atmosphere. They have a good selection of ales and the staff are friendly. It's very dog-friendly too, which is a nice touch.

The staff handled our big group of 23 so smoothly. It felt effortless, which is exactly what you need for a celebration. No stress, just a nice flow to the evening.

The Sunday roast platter here is something else. My photo honestly doesn't capture how good it looks on the plate. The beef was spot on, and those giant Yorkshire puddings? So good. Probably the best I've had in Leicester.

The Bollywood singer was lovely, really made the evening feel special. The music created such a fun, vibrant atmosphere.

That steak pie was so good! Really rich and full of flavour. Perfect for a cosy catch-up with mates. The place had a nice buzz too, not too loud to talk.

Been coming here for years, and the garden is still the perfect spot to unwind. Always feels like a little escape from the bustle.

I have been coming to The Packe Arms for years. The service, food and atmosphere is always top notch. This time I had Beetroot Arancini on a bed of rainbow cousous, classic fish and chips (super fresh, chunky fish and crispy batter) and the mini pud and hot drink combo which is a great idea if you haven't got room for a full sized pudding. The new range of alcohol free drinks are also great. I had elderflower and mint.

Elliot was a great server. The smokehouse platter for two is huge, we had to take some home. Good spot for a special occasion.

The lamb shank is the star here. It falls off the bone perfectly, and the gravy is rich without being heavy. I've had it three times now, and it's always cooked just right. The mash it comes with is creamy and buttery. That's what keeps me coming back.

Nice spot for a quick lunch. Got the tuna melt and fries. Came out fast and hot, which is what I needed. Coffee was decent too. Place itself is cosy, but I'm really here for the speed. Does the job.

The pepper soup here is the real deal, packed with heat and flavour. The jollof rice had that perfect smoky depth you don't often find. Portions are huge, I couldn't finish mine. A solid spot for proper Afro-Caribbean cooking.

We were soaked after our walk, so finding a spot that welcomed our muddy dog was a relief. The pizza was spot on, and the Meantime pale ale was poured just right. A proper cosy stop on a rainy day.

Their gluten-free menu is impressive, really one of the best selections around. The food and drinks were spot on.

Natty was brilliant. So polite and attentive, remembered our drink order without us asking. Just the right kind of service that makes you feel looked after.

The staff were genuinely friendly and made the experience enjoyable. The rich aromas of coffee and authentic dishes are very welcoming.
