Stopped in for a beer and ended up staying for two. The staff were so friendly and made it a very comfortable spot.

The breakfast was spot on. Eggs were cooked just right, bacon crisp. Coffee had a real kick, needed that before my round. Everything came out piping hot, which you don't always get. Solid start to the day.

Nice little spot for a quick lunch. The staff were friendly and got my order out fast. Had the chicken sandwich, simple but tasty. Good for a bite when you're in a hurry.

Came for the curry night. The portion size was huge for the price. My chicken curry came with rice and naan, and I still had leftovers to take home. Really solid value.

Mixed starter for two was huge, pakoras were the best bit. My Jalfrezi was seriously hot, maybe too hot for me. Got my food in about 10 minutes though, perfect for a quick lunch.

Sunny was so attentive and friendly. The whole team made sure we were comfortable, and the evening felt really relaxed. It's a lovely spot for a quiet meal.

We came with a big group and they were very accommodating. The place is spotless. A nice touch was a staff member showing my curious kid around the kitchen. Food was decent, though service got a bit slow later on.

The Harvester in Loughborough offers a fantastic dining experience with friendly and attentive staff who genuinely care about their customers. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it perfect for a casual meal out.

Lovely staff, wonderful service and excellent food. It's a great pity though that the Tuna Abrizzese Salad -- their best dish and featured as the illustration on this page -- is no longer on the menu. In fact there are no salads on the menu at all except for side salads -- as a vegetarian that is something that I really miss.I'd also like to see a proper automatic door system fitted. The current front door is extremely heavy -- my mother can't open it on her own so doesn't go there any more without help. Worse than this, the door sticks fully open quite often as people leave, and when it's freezing outside if you're sitting by the window then it gets very cold very quickly. Small things which could make a big difference to our experience as regulars at this great restaurant.

The food hygiene rating was a nice touch, spotted it by the counter. Felt at ease straight away. Staff were lovely, really attentive without being overbearing. My latte was perfect.

A solid spot for families. The kids menu was decent, and they kept our little one busy with crayons and paper. Danni and Andrea were friendly and helpful. The high chairs were a bit wobbly though.

I had a fantastic breakfast here! The food was fresh and tasty, and our waitress Rona provided friendly and rapid service. Definitely a great start to the day!

Staff really know their stuff. Explained the dishes and wine pairings with so much enthusiasm. Made the whole evening more interesting. Sommelier's picks were spot on.

Afternoon tea was a treat. The macarons actually tasted like their flavours, not just sugar. Generous cake slices too. The tea selection was decent, but a glass of something sparkling would have been a nice option to have.

The tuna tartare was lovely, but the dressing was a bit heavy for my taste.

Popped in before my train. The BFC pizza was spot on, thin crust and all. Becky sorted me a nice drink to go with it. Quick service, which was exactly what I needed.

Cosy spot for a casual meal. The ingredients in the salad tasted very fresh, which I always appreciate.

The food is cooked with fresh ingredients, portions are generous. The grilled salmon was perfectly flaky, skin crisp. The accompanying herb butter sauce had a nice balance, not too rich. Fresh vegetables on the side still had a bit of crunch.

Lovely atmosphere, and the staff are always so friendly. Makes for a really comfortable meal.

Loved the little touches. The teacups were warmed, which is a nice detail for a chilly day. And the bill came with a couple of those tiny, pretty sweets. It's a small thing, but you notice when a place pays attention.

Vegan options are solid. Had the chilli mushrooms and pad thai - both were flavourful and well-prepared. It was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday evening, which was a plus. Service was efficient; they even comped a drink due to a slight wait. Good spot for a reliable meal.

The food was amazing, staff were polite and friendly Food arrived quickly I would rate our food as excellent. We even got the table I requested.

Food arrived piping hot, generous portions. Service was impressively efficient even with big groups.

The veg pie was pretty good, and the chicken skewer came out hot and fresh. The fries were decent. The service was friendly, though the décor is a bit quirky for my taste. A nice spot for a relaxed meal.

The chef explained each course, which made the evening feel so personal. The ingredients were incredibly fresh and thoughtfully sourced.

Been here a few times now. The ingredients are top-notch, you can really taste the difference. It's pricier than most places round here, but you get what you pay for. Good for a special occasion.

Been coming here for years. The cepelinai with bacon and sour cream is always solid, proper portion. Just a classic, no fuss.

Been coming here for years, and the bread basket is still the thing I look forward to. Always warm, that perfect crisp crust. It's the one constant that keeps me coming back.

They were so kind to fit us in on a busy Saturday. The doorways are wide and the disabled toilet is spacious, which made it easy for my friend to get around. Really appreciate that.

Good jacket potatoes, my wife swears by them. Solid cafe menu, nothing fancy but done right. Had a quick lunch here, decent spot.
