Why did you come to Kamchatka? Until now, I have been questioning myself, whether I want to come or not. Anyway, I arrived at Petropavlovsk, the capital of Kamchatka.

In the late 17th century, the Soviet Union began to colonize the Kamchatka Peninsula, and in 1706 it officially became part of the Russian Empire. During the Cold War, Kamchatka was designated as a military control zone by the Soviet Union due to its proximity to the United States, and foreigners were prohibited from entering.

When Kamchatka was allowed to allow foreigners to land and visit, &quot;I must go to Kamchatka&quot; became a deep desire in my heart.

I have learned that Kamchatka is the habitat of wild brown bears and various cold-level animals. Not only that, it was once the homeland of the Evenks. To this day, there are still ethnic minorities such as the Evenks, Aleuts, and Itmens living in Kamchatka.

It is really not easy to come to Kamchatka once, because it is a forgotten place that cannot be reached by road or train. Only airplanes and sailing can enter.

It takes nearly 9 hours to fly from Moscow to Kamchatka. You should know that it takes 9.5 hours to fly from Cairo, Egypt to Beijing. Suddenly, I have a deeper feeling about the vast land of Russia.

Kamchatka is also the first place in the world to greet the sun. It is four hours earlier than Beijing and nine hours earlier than the Russian capital Moscow. Russians really sleep here and get up there.

Kamchatka is an undeveloped place. Many cultural, religious and natural landscapes are very unique, with a strong Kamchatka charm. Especially the volcanic landforms.

In Kamchatka, there are still 30 active volcanoes and about 300 dormant and extinct volcanoes. Hot springs, volcano exploration and hiking are the characteristics of Kamchatka travel, which are extremely suitable for friends who like outdoor activities.

Petropavlovsk is the capital of Kamchatka. It is a city built on the mountains. There are not many plains, mostly mountains and volcanoes. The whole city is quite crowded.

So who is suitable for Kamchatka to travel?

1. Outdoor people. Tourists who like hiking and adventure. Especially volcano climbing, it is really exciting when you think about it.

Unfortunately, I am not one of the above people, so I just walked through basically the entire city. As a Citywalker, what attracts me is the various buildings, streets and scenery in the city.

The Volcano Museum in Kamchatka is very small and has the most volcanic rocks. I think the Volcano Museum in Wudalianchi is more worth seeing.

You must eat at the City Canteen once. The scenery here is so beautiful. You can see the volcano and the city street scene on a sunny day. The food is very cheap, which is very suitable for friends who like to taste Russian dishes.

Kamchatka&#39;s king crabs are also the best in the world. Fish roe and salmon are very suitable for tasting. You can choose to buy them at the vegetable market. Almost all of them can be eaten raw.

I personally think that the cost of Kamchatka is still a bit high, especially for accommodation. There are various activities from February to October every year, which is also the peak tourist season. There are almost no activities from November to January, and the most popular activity is skiing.

We stayed at the double L hotel. This restaurant is on the fourth floor of the mall across the street. You can take the elevator directly up. It is open until 12 o&#39;clock at night. It is a fine dinner restaurant with a good atmosphere and is relatively quiet. The pizza is very large. I ordered the first one on the menu, which was very salty! Then I ordered a dessert, which was also very large and very sweet! I felt that both dishes were a bit disappointing. Maybe the locals like to eat strong flavors.
