Great food. Lots of variety of tapas and pizzas. Very friendly and efficient service. Very reasonably priced and super location. Highly recommend it.

Great spot near the beach. The tapas menu is huge, which is nice. Had the grilled octopus and a local white wine that paired really well with it. Portions are generous, food was fresh. A solid choice for a casual meal.

The food here is a true culinary delight, with elaborate and innovative tasting menus that highlight the chef's expertise. Each dish is beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, making it a perfect spot for special occasions.

L’escaleta clearly deserves the 2 stars. I liked how chef Kiko uses local products but goes well beyond the classical Valencian dishes. The chef’s menu ‘ sabor’ , while being the smallest of the two menus offered, will already take you 3 hours to enjoy. Each dish gave me a nice blend of sour, salt and spice - chef Kiko likes to use kimchi, wild mustard and preserved vegetables, fish and meat. The service was very hospitable, and concluded by an invitation by the chef to visit his spotless, well organised kitchen. As the adagio of Michelin says: two stars means worth a detour and I would say, don’t mind if that detour takes you well off your planned road.

It is a really good space with a very good quality of сuisine, ambiance and staff. Very recommended. There is a very good selection in the shop which is located in the restaurant

Stopped in for a coffee. The cycling decor is really quirky, lots of old bike parts on the walls. Had a slice of carrot cake, it was decent. Good spot for a quick caffeine fix.

Would definitively recommend to any steak lovers. Delicious food overall as well as a really efficient service. The empanada is an amazing entrance and the ribeye was perfectly cooked. 10/10!!!

Absolutely outstanding from being met at the door to paying the bill ,they are all very attentive. cleaner than clean . I would 100% recommend this restaurant.

Lovely sunny terrace for a quiet lunch. I had the classic Belgian beef stew. The meat was tender, and the vegetables tasted very fresh. A nice selection of Belgian beers to pair with it. The portion felt just right for a balanced meal.

Tried their seafood tasting menu last night. €29 per person, and you get a lot! Lobster, crab, prawns, scallops... even those fried baby squid to start. Honestly, for that price, it's hard to complain.

The donuts here are made fresh daily, you can tell. I tried the whole wheat option and it was surprisingly light. Not overly sweet either. A nice treat that doesn't feel heavy.

The food was spot on. I had the lamb chops, cooked just right, and the sauce was rich without being heavy. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe, perfect for a long dinner. Menu has a bit of everything, which is handy.

The roast chicken was a pleasant surprise. Juicy and tender, cooked just right. It’s a solid choice to go with their famous rice. I’d order it again.

Birthday dinner. The paella and calamari were really good. Claudia remembered it was our celebration. Nice touch.

We visit this restaurant at least once a year when we fly to stay in Altea. It has been my favourite restaurant for many years, even before it changed to Columbus, when it was Tutti frutti!! The staff are friendly, food delicious and not badly priced in my opinion. The decor is Great, lots to look at ...go visit...it's worth it!!!

Good spot for a beer after work. Service is prompt, staff noticed my glass was empty. Tried the new tapas with the beer, decent portion for the price. A bit loud inside, but fine for a quick stop.

Decent meal for what you pay. The staff were friendly. Had the grilled fish, it was cooked fine, a bit simple but tasty enough.

Been here a few times now. The food always tastes the same, in a good way. You know exactly what you're getting.

The scrambled eggs with boletus mushrooms were the star. The eggs were creamy, not dry at all, and the mushrooms had a deep, earthy flavor that really came through. A solid dish. The portion was good for the price.

You're definitely paying for the view, which is special. The food was ok, nothing special, portions are on the small side. The shrimp cocktail was one shrimp on a bed of coleslaw. We did complain about that and they brought us a few more shrimp but it was awhile later. Service was very good.

The restaurant was in silence with most Of the lights out and the heating off, everyone kept their coat on. Staff were miserable. Starters were OK but main was frozen wedges and Beef cheek that was Luke Warm still with jelly on it. Menu included desert or coffee so we both said we would like to chose a desert. As the lady walked away, we decided we would have a coffee as well but When the bill came she had done it the other way to make the restaurant more money, gave coffee with menu charged desert! 1 wine 1,coke €49 wouldn't return or recommend

Lovely food and very good service. We booked in advance for 7.30 and there were only a few tables free on our arrival. It was on full so booking is advisable.

Came here for a casual drink with friends. The vibe is so cozy and relaxed, exactly what we needed. They had live music that night, which was a nice surprise! It really made the evening. We ended up staying way longer than planned.

Always get the same friendly service here. The food’s good, too.

It was a perfect lunch! The waitress was very kind, and flexible, and the food was exquisite! We had the paella Valenciana (rabbit, chicken and snails), it was divine, the same for the grilled fish! We enjoyed every moment of the meal

We have visited a couple of times before and this was definitely the best. Delicious pasta dishes and lovely focaccia. Polite and friendly service ????

As always a lovely meal ,hubby says steak was succulent tender and tasty, he’s Paid. double the price and not enjoyed it as much ,.Looking forward to our next visit .

I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! The ambiance was delightful, and the staff was attentive and friendly. The menu offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, and the presentation was impeccable. Each bite was bursting with flavors that left me wanting more. I particularly loved the dessert selection, which was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. I can't wait to return and savor their delectable cuisine again! Highly recommended!Evelyn has been the nicest waitress we have ever met! Her kindness and smile has made our food even more delicious. Five stars for her!!!

Great place to start your morning. Excellent service and lovely views. The food is fantastic and they even offered to cook a small Spanish Omelette without onion (the real and good one omelet). A MUST if you go to Javea.

Great spot for a big event like a hog roast. The space itself is really impressive, lots of room for everyone. The food was solid, exactly what you'd want for that kind of gathering. Service was friendly and kept things moving. A good choice if you're planning something similar.
