This place is tiny but immaculate. The service was really attentive, they remembered my coffee order from last time. The croissants are the star - buttery, flaky, perfect texture. A bit pricey for the size, but you can taste the quality.

The burger was juicy, but what really made it was the local craft IPA they suggested. Perfectly cut through the richness. A bit pricey for a casual spot, but that pairing hit the spot. 🍔🍺

The stuffed aubergine with minced beef was the highlight for me. The place gets packed after 7, so maybe book ahead.

The service here is genuinely friendly. They checked in just enough, not too much. The staff remembered we wanted extra napkins without us asking again. It made for a very relaxed dinner. The food was good, but that kind of attentive yet unintrusive service is what stood out.

The grilled seitan was the standout. So flavourful and satisfying. The homemade fries with aioli were a nice touch too. Portions are definitely generous, you won't leave hungry.

They had a micro-theatre night when I went. It was a fun little extra with dinner. Didn't feel like a standard restaurant visit, which was nice. The ticket was a separate charge though, so just be aware of that when you book for an event.

Perfect spot across from Calpe's salt lake. Sat outside for the view. Food was good, prices fair.

The ingredients were top-notch. Esther and Renate were so kind. Had the grilled octopus and the lamb chops - both were cooked just right. A really solid dinner for the price.

Been coming here for years, the cappuccino is always just right.

Good variety of flavors, including vegan choices and frozen yogurt. Portions are decent for the price. The staff is usually friendly and quick, though it can get a bit loud when it's packed.

Tacos al pastor and cochinita on a quiet Tuesday. The pastor had that nice char, cochinita was super tender. Quick service, no fuss. Solid meal.

Really good pizza’s and very helpful staff. Will definitely go back

The steak from the menu del día is the reason I came back. It was incredibly tender, cooked exactly as I like it. That's really all I look for.

Incredible meal, service and atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and elegance of the food. Traditional flavours, beautifully presented. The menu we chose flowed nicely. The staff were friendly and delivered a warm service from start to finish. We will definitely recommend and hope to return when we next get the chance to visit Alzira.

The tasting menu portions were a bit small for me, but the flavors were spot on. They had a nice selection of wines by the glass, and the sommelier's pairing suggestion for the fish course really worked. Good AC too, appreciated that.

The tasting menu was a quiet little journey. Each small plate had this delicate texture, a soft crunch here, a silky smoothness there. The flavors just unfolded slowly.

Loved the vibe here! The decor is simple but tasteful, and everything felt spotless. It’s got this cozy, intimate feel that just makes you want to linger over your meal. Perfect for a relaxed dinner.

Ohh what a night…. Arriving at this establishment makes us already happy… The style, environment, design and everything looks already nice… we loved it…Every course we had was wow… presentation, taste everything was a big wow… The menu was ‘limited’ but there was everything: fish/meat/poultry… and all was of a very good quality.. 👍🏼👍🏼Staff very friendly, (exept 1) though I think for the number of tables they have to serve, extra staff would not be a luxury, both for the team as the clients… but that is a detail for the management… We will come back for sure in the nearly future, and can and will only spread the name Rumors Altea… like their business card says: A first rumor, always comes with its own history, which you can not believe until you experienced it yourself….!!Do not hesitate to jump in ‘Rumors’ when in Altea…you will never regret it….

The best menu I have tried so far. Despite not having (yet!) a Michelin star, this was by far the greatest menu tried at a level of 2-3 stars Michelin. All the experience was amazing and every dish was more surprising than the previous. A speechless crescendo! The chef is going to be surely one of the greatest in the world and he seems also a very nice and ambitious person. You’ll hear about him.
