Good portion sizes and tasty food. The view is a plus. Prices are fair for the area. It was quieter than expected on a weekday lunch, which worked for a business meeting.

Been coming here for years. It’s the staff that keep me coming back—always friendly, never rushed. Feels like a proper neighborhood spot where you can settle in for a long lunch. That relaxed vibe is hard to find these days.

The food here is simply wonderful! I highly recommend trying the leg of suckling lamb, paired with their excellent house wine. The views from the terrace are an added bonus.

The off-menu special was the only thing I ordered. A grilled octopus with some kind of smoky paprika rub. The texture was just right, not rubbery at all. That's what I came for.

Prices are surprisingly fair for what you get. My pasta dish was packed with flavour, and the service was spot on. Didn't feel like I was overpaying at all.

First time here and the montaditos were a real find. So many little bites to choose from, I just kept ordering more. The serrano ham one was my favorite. A fun way to try different things.

Good spot for a drink at sunset. The terrace is nice, staff were around when we needed them. Breakfast was solid too.

Came in for a beer and an espresso. The espresso is honestly the best I've had here. The space is simple, clean, and feels really open with the big windows. A nice, uncomplicated spot to just sit and relax for a bit.

The tasting menu portions were a bit small for me, but the flavors were spot on. They had a nice selection of wines by the glass, and the sommelier's pairing suggestion for the fish course really worked. Good AC too, appreciated that.

The tasting menu was a quiet little journey. Each small plate had this delicate texture, a soft crunch here, a silky smoothness there. The flavors just unfolded slowly.

Loved the vibe here! The decor is simple but tasteful, and everything felt spotless. It’s got this cozy, intimate feel that just makes you want to linger over your meal. Perfect for a relaxed dinner.

Ohh what a night…. Arriving at this establishment makes us already happy… The style, environment, design and everything looks already nice… we loved it…Every course we had was wow… presentation, taste everything was a big wow… The menu was ‘limited’ but there was everything: fish/meat/poultry… and all was of a very good quality.. 👍🏼👍🏼Staff very friendly, (exept 1) though I think for the number of tables they have to serve, extra staff would not be a luxury, both for the team as the clients… but that is a detail for the management… We will come back for sure in the nearly future, and can and will only spread the name Rumors Altea… like their business card says: A first rumor, always comes with its own history, which you can not believe until you experienced it yourself….!!Do not hesitate to jump in ‘Rumors’ when in Altea…you will never regret it….

The best menu I have tried so far. Despite not having (yet!) a Michelin star, this was by far the greatest menu tried at a level of 2-3 stars Michelin. All the experience was amazing and every dish was more surprising than the previous. A speechless crescendo! The chef is going to be surely one of the greatest in the world and he seems also a very nice and ambitious person. You’ll hear about him.

Had dinner at the restaurant inside Hotel LaSort. The outdoor patio was so nice, really comfortable and elegant. We had the grilled octopus there. It was a perfect spot for a relaxed evening.

Lovely view of the beach. The staff was nice, but the wine list felt a bit limited for a place with this vibe. Ended up with a decent Pinot Grigio to go with the seafood pasta.

It can get quite busy, but the staff stays friendly and attentive. Just a heads up, you might leave smelling like the kitchen.

This place is buzzing on match days! I grabbed a seat at the bar for the game. The vibe is lively, and the screens are huge so you won't miss a thing. Perfect spot to watch with friends.

Been coming here for years. The set meal for two is a solid deal, plenty of food with poppadoms, starters, mains, the lot. Portions are always generous, never leave hungry. Good for a casual dinner.

Service was efficient and polite. Staff checked in at the right times without hovering. Good for a business lunch when you need to get in and out.

The portions here are huge, honestly. I could barely finish mine. Definitely didn't leave hungry, that's for sure.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Daily menu has solid homemade options, and the price is right. Got in and out fast.

The family running this place makes it feel so personal. Relaxed spot right by the water.

The desserts here are a must-try. Everything else was solid, but the chocolate tart was the real highlight.

A cozy little spot, tucked away. The paella was just right for lunch. They only serve lunch at the moment, which is a bit of a shame. The staff were very friendly and made sure we were comfortable.

Loved the house rosé! Really affordable and nice. The food looked great by the pool, and the prices were super fair. Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends.

The fish and chips were a solid choice. The fish tasted fresh, and the batter had that perfect, light crisp. The Friday night crowd was lively but not overwhelming, which made for a nice, relaxed vibe.
