Nice German beers on tap, but the portion for the price felt a bit small. Good spot to sit outside though.

The set meal for two was a steal! So much variety and everything tasted fresh. Best deal we've found in Javea.

Came here for the rugby game. Good spot to watch, decent screens. Crowd was lively, fans were into it. They started karaoke right after the final whistle. Solid choice for sports.

The food was really good. We had the seafood paella and it was cooked perfectly, the rice had a nice bite to it. Service was friendly and efficient. For what you get, the prices feel fair. A solid spot.

Loved discovering this Spanish Restaurant - I hesitate to say "hidden gem" because I've used that in previous reviews but Restauarante Contemple certainly falls into that category. It's a beautiful location with splendid views, a modern style restaurant interior blends with the Spanish countryside and vies of medieval castles on the mountains surrounding. In this setting we had high expectations for Service (which was excellent!) and the food (which was some of the best we've had in the last year). Try the $70 tasting menu and pair with some local wines. Tasty, beautifully presented and set to the table by experienced and very friendly staff. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone and it's well worth a little drive in the country to find it. Upmarket and delightful.
