This pub has a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff who make you feel welcome. The food is delicious, especially the steak pie and chicken schnitzel, both cooked to perfection.

Been coming here for years. The onion rings are always spot on - crispy, not greasy, and the portion is generous. That's the main reason I keep coming back. Food's always hot and quick, too. Just solid pub grub.

Been here a few times for a casual dinner. It's a solid choice when you just want something straightforward. The vibe is great, staff are always friendly. The portions are generous for the price, which is what keeps me coming back.

Lovely old pub, really welcoming. The outdoor space is fantastic for families, with a proper play area for the kids. A proper village pub feel, which is nice to see.

The steak and ale pie was spot on, lovely flaky pastry and rich filling. Staff were quick and friendly, made us feel welcome. A good, reliable spot for a casual dinner.

Been coming here for years. The Chateaubriand for two is always cooked just right, a proper treat. The bar next door is handy for a drink before you sit down. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Lovely little spot, really cozy. The cocktail menu is the star here - tried their signature gin fizz and it was spot on. Food was fresh, had a nice salad. Bit pricey for the portions though.

Been coming here for years, and it's still the stained glass that gets me every time. Just sitting with a pint, watching the light change through those windows as the evening goes on. It's the one thing that keeps me coming back. The terrace is nice too, but honestly, I'm always drawn back inside for that view.

Been coming here for years. The staff are always friendly and helpful, which is why I keep coming back.

Popped in on a Friday afternoon. The portions were huge, which I appreciated. Had the grilled octopus – it was tender, with a nice char. My partner's pasta was a bit too al dente for her taste, but my dish was spot on. Good spot for a hearty meal.

Stopped in for a pint after work. The place was spotless and the bartender was really friendly, had a good chat. Just a nice, easy spot to unwind.

The quiz night was a blast! It’s a proper local pub, always something going on. The live music last Thursday was a nice surprise, really added to the vibe. Makes it feel like a proper community spot.

The bar staff are lovely, and the cocktails are pretty good. Service was fine, especially when it was quieter early on. A decent spot for a drink.

Seafood linguine was spot on. Big portion, got it to go. Quick service, didn't have to wait long at all. Perfect for a quick lunch.

Came for the quiz night. Good atmosphere, decent crowd. The nachos were surprisingly solid. Beer selection is okay. Might pop in again next week.

A nice little independent spot. The owner was friendly and had some good local stories to share. Prices are decent, and they sometimes have food pop-ups, which is a nice touch. The seating is comfortable enough for a relaxed drink.

A cosy spot for a quiet drink. The armchairs by the fireplace are perfect for unwinding with a good glass of red.

Nice local pub. Good range of drinks, and the place is clean and warm. Handy central location too. It was a bit quiet for a Friday evening, but otherwise a decent spot.

Lovely decor and a nice atmosphere. The cocktails were really good, I had a lovely time. The only thing was the seating, the chairs were a bit too low for the tables, made it a little awkward to eat comfortably.

Solid pub grub, but feels like a proper restaurant. Portions are huge, you won't leave hungry. That's the main thing.
