张一超 The Marne River is a tributary of the Seine River that flows through northern France, with a total length of 525 kilometers. During the First World War, fierce battles took place in the Marne Valley, which became a famous battlefield in France. The water of the Marne River flows endlessly, taking away the years and allowing modern civilization to show its long-lasting footprints. A very beautiful hiking trail extends along the river to the distance, like a gorgeous decorative belt inlaid in the Marne River. During my stay in France, the most activity was walking on this quiet riverside. The opposite riverside is surrounded by green plants, with curved green guardrails close to the water. Swans and wild ducks cruise on the river, and several bright kayaks pass by on the smooth water, leaving ripples. The scenery along the coast is endless, the water is blue, and the many villas with different design styles on both sides are really pleasing to the eye. The right bank of the river is dotted with Gayère Island and Saint Catherine Island, which existed in the 19th century. The island has towering old trees and quaint buildings, and the thick fallen leaves cannot cover the dust of history. This family garden is like a green gem inlaid in the bustling city. The garden is divided into vegetable plots and rented to interested people for cultivation. Various fruits and vegetables are planted in the garden. Although it is early winter, it is still full of vitality. This belongs to the National Federation of Family Gardens and Collectives, and it is not easy to apply for it. There are some leisure and sports venues and some restaurants on both sides of the river. After exercise, sit down and drink a cup of coffee, taste delicious food, and enjoy the joy of life.
