TheForkUserThis restaurant was an unexpected gem. The food was amazing. The service was great. We loved everything about it. We had a great table and really enjoyed our experience there!
TheForkUserWhat a meal! Enjoyed a delicious 10 course tasting menu for only 40 euros. The staff was great and had time to talk to the chef after almost every course. The yellow pepper course was our favorite followed closely by the cheese course. The octopus soup was incredible! Olive oil ice cream was simple yet complex. Loved everything about this meal! I hope you get to enjoy it as much as I did.
TheForkUserIt is not easy to find because it is the restaurant of a hotel. The food was really good and the service as well.
TheForkUserThe meat was excellent. The bread, cheess and olive oil were great. Super dinner for cheap price.
TheForkUserA warm welcome from the start. Beautiful setting with much choice on the menu. Greeting with a taste of the chef that was a delight. From the mussels to the pasta to the fried calamari- was a great delight. The tiramisu was a treat Met some great locals who made my experience even better. Thank you for a great evening
TheForkUserGreat food and super staff in a fantastic location. Price is fair for the quality of the above. One of the best spigola we have ever eaten. We strongly recommend this place
TheForkUserA great experience in a superb gourmet restaurant, with all the characteristic of a starred Michelin spot. The ambient is modern and the food preparation represent the territory in a contemporary way. Each dish has an incredible balance where you can taste all the single ingredients. Service and sommelier are super professional and well prepared. I wish we can get back here soon
TheForkUserThe people were very welcoming and helped with the menu. The menu was varied and looked promising. However, the food was not as good as anticipated one pasta dish which we were told was home made was very nice the other had a strand of metal from a pan scrubber in It and was not tasty. The second was adequate except the fish dish all of it was overcooked.
TheForkUserThis restaurant was really a great find. The dishes were excellent and the service superb. We also liked the very nice place and atmosphere. We will definitly come again.
TheForkUserAfter many, many trips and vacations to Italy, we have never had an experience like visiting Il Ritrovo Della Fenice. Claudio showed us around the beautifully renovated restaurant and the kitchen, took us through 4 courses with local specialities and lovely wine. The cost could have been tripled and it would still be worth every penny!Thank you for a wonderful evening Claudio - We will definitely find every excuse to come back and visit your restaurant in the future ????
TheForkUserWe (family of 5, two teenage boys and one adult son) came here for lunch the day before, were the only people in the restaurant and had a lovely meal. So we decided to come back the following day for dinner. When we arrived (having booked) we were taken not to the lovely, air conditioned restaurant in which we had eaten previously but to a horrid, very noisy outside terrace at the back of the building with a couple of fans trying vainly to keep diners cool. This wasn’t what we expected (or had booked) so we asked to move to the restaurant but we were told there were no tables available. It was only when we said that we were leaving that, miraculously, a table in the restaurant (that was not full) was found for us.Once in the restaurant, the food was superb and the service was excellent, as was the wine. It was a really good dining experience. But, for whatever reason we didn’t receive the complimentary amuse buche delivered to all other tables. This may be because we had booked through Fork with (supposedly) a 20% discount on food that was not in fact applied when the bill arrived. We didn’t book the restaurant because of the discount but because of the lovely lunch we had had the day before. So we paid the bill in full and left.Lovely as the food was, we would not go back to Laura’s. Very clearly, they only care about local diners and treat tourists with disdain. In a locality where there are so many wonderful restaurants that value ALL their diners from the start, I suggest you avoid Laura’s and eat elsewhere.
TheForkUserGreat place! Food perfect. Service nice and friendly
TheForkUserA gorgeous find in Atena Lucano. Absolutely stunning venue, good food, great service, attention to decore. Simply a life my find for a lazy afternoon lunch. If you are looking for somewhere with a cosy, beautiful and quaint atmosphere, here is the spot in this part of the world. Good food, excellent service, great hospitality, stunning views.. Enjoy!
TheForkUserWe had such a wonderful, exquisite food, from the starters to the main course. This place is a secret gem.If you have the opportunity to go do not hesitate, it's amazing
TheForkUserThe restaurant was located directly next to the beach, so we had a wonderful view. The service was outstanding, and so was the food! All in all it deserves this full rating!
