This place is a regular for me now. The staff are so friendly, and Jack in particular always remembers my usual order. The food is consistently tasty and the prices are very fair. A really comfortable spot to unwind.

Tom was a great server for our birthday dinner. He was patient, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of even though we all arrived at different times.

Been coming here for years, and the Mauritian curry specials are consistently good. Always a nice change from the usual pub food.

Our server was really good with my food allergies. Knew exactly what to ask the kitchen, explained everything clearly. Felt safe ordering, which isn't always the case.

Lovely old building, feels very spacious. Just a heads up that getting a table for a bigger group at busy times might be a bit of a wait.

The Nepalese food was incredible, honestly the best I've tried. The waiter really took his time explaining the menu, which was so helpful.

Proper old-school pub feel. The roast beef was spot on, really tender. Staff were friendly and quick. Just a bit pricey for a Sunday lunch, but you get what you pay for I suppose.

Kayleigh was so good with our big group, especially the kids. She kept everything running smoothly, and we could actually relax and enjoy the meal. That kind of attention is hard to find.

Fantastic curry house near Newbury train station. Great menu selection, where you can customise the heat of every menu item depending on your preference. Food was first class. Good service and pleasant decor. Highly recommended.

Grabbed burgers here with my mates last night. The patties were flame-grilled just right, you could really taste it. Fresh and not burnt at all. Perfect spot for a casual catch-up.

Lovely spot with the outdoor seating. Grace was so friendly and helpful, really made us feel welcome. The food was good too, nice and simple.

Just moved here and tried this Indian takeaway. Sam at the bar was so welcoming, made me feel right at home.

The ribs in the set were fantastic. The house red was a surprisingly good match for the smoky flavours.

Popped in for a coffee and a slice of cake this afternoon. It was so chilled, perfect for a break. The staff were really on it, even with the place being packed.

Breakfast was solid - loads of choice and everything cooked properly. The harbour view from the room was a nice touch.

Nice spot for breakfast with a sea view. The food looked good and was cooked right. Bit of a wait for a table, but the view made up for it.

Birthday lunch spot. The clucker burger was worth the wait, honestly. Staff were so calm when a nearby table got a bit loud, handled it really well.

Stopped by for a quick drink and the staff were so nice. They let me try a sip of their house lager before I ordered a pint. The vibe in here is just really relaxed and friendly.

The renovation's nice, but the main thing is the food. The lamb shank was cooked for hours, just fell apart with a fork. The gravy was rich, not too salty. That's what I come for.

Been coming here for years. The pasta dishes are just like what I had in Rome – simple, hearty, and you get a good plateful for your money. No fuss, just proper food.

The blueberry sponge cake here is just lovely. It's got that perfect, slightly dense crumb and the berries are still juicy. A really nice treat with a coffee. The place itself is spotless, which I always appreciate.

Butter chicken takeaway had a good amount of chicken, really tasty. The naan was excellent too, soft and warm. Solid choice for a quick dinner.

I haven't been to the Fishers Pond so this was a trip back in time. The setting is still as I remember, obviously the staff and menu wasn't going to be the same but I wasn't disappointed, the menu provides a variety of dishes and the roast which we chose was probably one of the best i have had. As for the staff, friendly and efficient, so big 10/10 to all!

Service was really good, they were attentive without being overbearing. Online payment was a breeze, which is always a plus. The food came out fresh and hot.

Really clean and tidy when we popped in, perfect for a casual catch-up with friends.

Caught the match here last night. It's a solid spot for sports - the screens are huge and the atmosphere gets really lively when it's busy. My only gripe was the wait for a pint during half-time, but that's to be expected on a big game night. Would come back with the group.

The chicken bowl was really fresh, which I appreciate. You could tell the ingredients were just prepped. The portion felt a bit small for the price, but the quality was there.

Really lovely meal out for four people. I can especially recommend the sea bass - great presentation and delicious. Attentive waiting staff as well.

Absolutely excellent roast dinner, we will definitely be back again soon! Everything was brilliant. The lovely new landlady, Rebecca, came around personally to introduce herself and check how our meal was, really nice touch!
