A lovely spot that's really welcoming to dogs. I had the ciabatta, which was fresh and came with a nice side salad. The whole place felt very clean and tidy, which made for a relaxed lunch. Prices seemed fair too.

Friendly service, quick too. Prices felt fair for what you get. The grilled chicken was solid, nothing fancy but cooked right. Good spot for a casual bite.

Right by the river next to the old bridge. Such a lovely spot. The light on the water at dusk was just perfect. A bit of a walk from the car park, but worth it for that view.

Perfect spot for a quick lunch. Grabbed the ribs, they were tender and tasty. Came out fast, which is what I needed. Good portion for the price. 👍

Been here for Sunday lunch a few times. It's a cosy place, good for a relaxed meal. Staff are friendly, food comes out quick. Had the roast beef last time - decent portion, gravy was spot on. Nothing fancy, just solid.

Been coming here for years. Their lamb biryani is always spot on, never had a bad one. The meat is tender, rice is fragrant. It's my usual order.

A solid roast dinner at the local wine bar. The staff are lovely, which makes it a nice regular spot.

A pleasant evening. The smoked salmon starter was nicely presented, and the lamb main was very good. Service was fine, though the espresso martini at the end took a little while to arrive. A solid choice for a quiet dinner.

The basil pesto on the sourdough was the star. It had a real punch of garlic and pine nuts, not just oil. The plant-based bacon was crispy, but the egg was a touch over for my liking. Still, a very solid dish.

Loved the vibe here! Came for a quiet lunch and the decor is really beautiful. The pasta portions are huge for the price, which was a nice surprise. Food did take a while to come out, but no big deal when you're just relaxing.

They really get it if you have a dog. Our guy was totally welcome, even got a water bowl. Plenty of space for him to chill under the table. 👍

From Birmingham, so I know my curries. The chicken here was really fresh and tender, portions are generous. Everything was cooked just right.

Popped in early for a bite. The fish and chips were spot on - crispy batter, proper chips. Love the old pub vibe in here, you can feel the history. No booking needed which was handy.

Zoe and Mariia were brilliant. Really professional, remembered our drinks order, and just made the whole evening run smoothly. A nice touch.

Maciej and Daniel were really helpful. The jugs here were noticeably fresher than at other places we tried. You could tell the ingredients were good quality.

The saffron ice cream was the perfect end to a rich dinner. Such a unique, subtle flavour. The fresh tea alongside it was lovely, though I wish the ice cream portion was a touch bigger.

Been coming here for years for breakfast. Their full English is always spot on - the bacon's crispy, the eggs are runny, and the black pudding is just right. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Stopped in on a quiet Monday. The home-cooked food was really good, portions were huge. Friendly landlord too. Just what you need on a slow night.

The gluten-free chicken and leek pie was spot on. A proper find for a coeliac, and no extra charge for the GF menu.

The staff were so kind, even when we arrived near closing. The wine list had a great selection that paired nicely with our meal.

Been coming here for years. The outdoor seating is always nice, especially when you're just off the train.

The food here is a step up from your usual pub fare. My fish and chips were pretty good, with a decently crispy batter. The service was a bit slow, but everyone at our table seemed happy with their meals.

Cosy spot with a fire going when we arrived, which was lovely. The menu had a nice selection, and my fish and chips were solid. Prices felt fair. Service was quick, no complaints there.

They handled my food allergy really well. The curry I had was fantastic - just the right amount of heat and so much flavour. One of the best I've had in ages.

The pasta was cooked just right, really flavourful. I had a lovely, relaxed meal here. The chairs were comfortable and the service was friendly without being overbearing. Just what I needed.
