Loved the old-school bakery vibe here. The pulla was still warm when I got it, super soft. Felt like stepping back in time, honestly.

Came in right before closing and they still took care of me. No rush, no attitude. Just grabbed a quick bite and everything tasted fresh. Good spot if you need something fast without the hassle.

The salmon was cooked well and the plate looked nice, but honestly the portion felt a bit small for 28 euros. I get that it's Turku and not cheap, still. Left a bit hungry after the main. Maybe fine if you're not that hungry or plan to get dessert.

Espresso came out tiny, but the mascarpone-apricot-walnut-cherry sorbet was the real deal. Wish the cup was bigger though.

Booked ahead because everywhere else was full. Got the pizza, it was decent but honestly not sure what the hype is about. Portion size felt a bit small for the price. Service was fast though, no complaints there. Maybe I just picked the wrong thing. Would come back to try something else.

The wine list is short but decent, and the wiener donuts were fun with a glass of something bubbly. Crispy French bread was the real standout. Place gets busy, but worth squeezing in for a quick bite.

The 'Isot pidot' menu with wine pairings was pretty good. Staff knew their stuff when presenting each course. Pairings were well thought out, though it did run a bit long.

The lunch deal here is actually pretty solid for what you get. I came with a couple of friends and we all grabbed the set menu—portions were decent and the food felt fresh, not like typical fast-casual stuff. It’s a bit more expensive than your usual spot, but I didn’t mind paying extra. Good place to catch up without it being a whole thing.

Came here on a random weeknight, place was pretty quiet. Asked for extra heat on the chicken chilli and they actually delivered - proper spicy, not that mild western version. Tandoori chicken was decent too, nice char on the edges. Portions are fair for the price. Would go back if I'm craving Indian in the area.

The salmon soup was really fresh and light, exactly what I needed for lunch. Portion felt right, not too heavy. Prices are fair for the quality.

Stopped by for a burger and honestly the patty was cooked well, juicy enough. Bun held up, no mess. Place has a bit of character, old wooden tables and such. Staff were nice, didn't hover. Only thing, the plate looked a bit thrown together, but whatever. I'd sit at the counter again.

Stopped by for a coffee and that almond croissant. Flaky, buttery, just right. Place was quiet in the afternoon, plenty of room to sit. View over the Aura river is a nice bonus. Croissant alone makes it worth remembering. Maybe a bit pricey for a pastry, but you pay for the quality.

The sausage and fries combo hit the spot. Greasy in the best way, and cheap enough that I didn't feel bad about it. Place is pretty bare-bones, but that's kind of the charm. Fine for a late night stop.

Loved the vintage circus vibe here. Cocktails were the highlight, really well made. Food was decent too, nothing mind-blowing but solid. Tables are small though, and it gets crowded fast. Fun spot to grab drinks with people, just don't expect a relaxed dinner.

The wine list was solid — our server actually knew what she was talking about. Picked something local that paired perfectly with the food. Cozy little spot by the river, warm inside. Food was well-prepared, nothing fancy but satisfying. Nice place to just sit and take your time. Maybe a bit quiet for a Friday night, but that worked for us.

Stopped by for lunch on a workday. The Salakuljettaja pizza was solid - thin crust, crispy edges, good toppings. Salmon pizza worked too. Prices reasonable for what you get. Place was busy but service kept up fine. No complaints.

Good Sicilian pasta and that lasagna was properly done. Pizza came out thin and crispy. Bit pricey for the area but you get decent portions. Service lagged a little when it got busy. Best Italian spot in Turku though.

Stopped by for a pint after work. The beer garden is lovely when the weather cooperates. Staff actually know their brews, helped me pick something local. Prices are a bit steep though, and it adds up fast if you stay for a few rounds. Still, the beer quality is solid, so I get the hype.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the pho. Portions are generous, no doubt. Asked the owner if they could do something more authentic, they hooked it up without hesitation. Sat outside on the patio, weather was perfect for it. Solid spot if you're in the area and hungry.

Took my friends here for the tasting menu and honestly the wine pairings were spot on. River view is a nice bonus too. Just wish the pacing was a bit quicker between courses.

Came in pretty late on a Friday and the staff didn’t make us feel rushed at all. Food was solid and came out fast. Nice when that happens.

The chef came out to explain each dish, which was a nice touch. Liked hearing about the local ingredients. But honestly the warm bread was the highlight for me—crispy on the outside, super fluffy inside. Could’ve eaten just that all night.

Salmon tapas were good. Shrimp salad too. Dessert was fine, nothing crazy. Place has a nice vibe though. Maybe a bit touristy but I'd sit here again.

Good spot to catch the game, loads of screens and decent beer list. Steak burger was solid, went well with the local lager.

Tucked upstairs, easy to walk past. Reminded me of tiny spots in Tokyo. Had the grilled mackerel set — fish was juicy, rice cooked properly. Place is small, maybe six tables, but cozy. Owner cooks everything herself, you can hear the pan from the counter. Only downside: took a while to get the bill.
