A quick walk from Saitama Shintoshin Station. The Ume Mekabu Udon was really good, warm and filling. The portion was generous for the price, which I always appreciate. It's the kind of simple, satisfying meal that feels worth it.

If you're looking for high-quality sushi, Ishimaru is the place to go. The omakase course was delightful, featuring a variety of fresh seafood that left me wanting more.

The wine set is a solid value. Includes a glass of house wine and a sizable appetizer platter. The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo was good. Service was efficient.

The set meal is a solid deal. Plenty of food with the rice, soup, and sides. I had a cold beer with it, which cut through the richness nicely. Good for a quick, filling lunch.

The lunch buffet is a solid deal for the price. Got there on a Tuesday without a booking and had to wait nearly 20 minutes. It was packed! Next time I'll definitely call ahead.

Been coming here for years. It's a local favorite. The natto shinoda is always perfectly crispy. But I've noticed the portion size has gotten a bit smaller lately, even though the price is the same.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Their lunch special is fast and filling. The old building is cool, but those stairs are a bit of a climb.

The atmosphere in the private round-table room was perfect for enjoying a delicious course meal. The 15-year-old Shaoxing wine paired beautifully with the food, enhancing the overall dining experience.

The Japanese garden inside is so peaceful. Just sitting there with a cup of tea, watching the koi fish, made the whole evening. The food was good, but honestly, that little garden is what I'll remember.

Just off the train at Kawagoe Station and found this spot. Grabbed a takeout box before heading out—super handy when you're rushing. The chicken katsu was still crispy even after the walk back.

I have a food allergy. The staff took it seriously. A chef came out to our table to confirm everything before cooking. Quick and safe lunch, felt very secure.

The staff here are so polite and attentive. They noticed my coffee was getting cold and offered to warm it up without me asking. Really nice service.

Maple is such a cozy spot. I really appreciate having the option for table seating; the chairs are comfortable and it makes for a relaxed meal. The staff are very friendly and attentive, which always puts me at ease. It does get quite busy, so booking ahead is a must.

Got caught in the weekend queue, but it moved okay. The ramen broth was rich and kept me warm. A solid bowl for a chilly evening.

Stopped by for lunch, got the tempura set. You pick two sides, went with the matsutake chawanmushi. That was the highlight, really nice. Tempura was fresh and crispy. Simple, solid meal.

Been coming here for years. The counter seats are my favorite. They always take their time with the seasonal stuff, you can really see the care in each plate. That's why I keep coming back.
