Came here after the renovation and the place looks really nice, modern but still cozy. I ordered the sushi set and honestly the fish tasted super fresh, like melt-in-your-mouth fresh. Service was friendly too, nothing over the top but they checked in at the right moments. Only thing is it got a bit busy around 8pm, but that&#39;s probably a good sign. Would come back for the salmon nigiri for sure 🍣

Wonderful place, very unique with great live music on Wednesdays and Fridays. Food home cooked and delicious and lovely atmosphere and friendly service.

We keep returning to this place. It might be once a month, twice or once every two months but it&#39;s one of those reference places for me. It&#39;s difficult to top in the surroundings, only by one sushi restaurant (in my opinion) and it is a different kind of experience. The fish quality is really good, prepared with care and excellent presentation. The staff is really kind and pleasant. Great overall experience that i would advise for any sushi lover.

Service was friendly and attentive. Maria herself chatted with us and talked about the food. In particular, the salads were delicious, fresh, flavorful and interesting.

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed the cod with cornbread topping. Really solid &mdash; flaky, well seasoned, that topping gave it a nice crunch. Ended with the pear mousse, light and not too sweet. Place has that rustic charm, pretty chill inside. Staff were friendly, didn&rsquo;t rush me at all. Just a good, easy meal.

Place looks nice too, even if it&#39;s a bit dark to take pictures of your food. Not complaining though, that&#39;s not why I&#39;m there.

The veggie plate with spinach was solid, decent size for the money. Garlic bread came out warm, not too greasy. Place was busy on a Tuesday night but we got seated quick. Prices fair for what you get around here. Not fancy, but it does the job when you don&#39;t feel like cooking.

We stopped by for dinner and Sergio totally made the night. He picked a Tourigo Nacional for us and it went so well with the pork cheeks. The staff were friendly and the medieval spot inside the old city gate is pretty cool. Ginja was a must-try, they even told us a bit about the building&#39;s history.

The staff were so nice with our kids, and that stew was easily the best thing I ate in 10 days in Portugal. Just wish we&#39;d brought cash for a tip.

Gluten-free here is actually safe&mdash;no flour in the kitchen, grill only for meat and fish. Staff spoke clear English too. Solid spot for coeliacs.

The place has that warm, cozy vibe and we grabbed a table outside. Portions are definitely generous, no complaints there. But honestly, everything came out a bit salty for me. If you&#39;re not big on salt, just ask them to go easy on the seasoning. I&#39;d probably do that next time.

That chicken dish though. Easily one of the best I&#39;ve had in a long time. Simple seasoning, cooked just right, no fuss. Didn&#39;t need anything else on the plate. I&#39;d come back just for that.

The dining room is gorgeous and the owner actually came by to check on us. Food was so good I almost ordered a second round 😅

Decent spot for a weekend drink. The live music gives it a nice buzz without being too loud. Place is big, so even when it fills up you can find a corner. Sunday was busier than I expected though. Probably better to grab a table earlier if you want a proper seat. Pretty good overall.

Kabuki is a wonderful spot, one of our favorites. We came from California to live in Portugal more than 4 years ago and had been looking for a place that served good sushi.Kabuki hits the mark!!!Beautiful presentation, very fresh and very affordable!!  We try to go there every month or so (we don&#39;t go out that often) and have never been disappointed with any item we have eaten there!Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and speak English way better than I speak Portugu&ecirc;s.Go and enjoy!!

We popped in a few times during our stay. The crepes and waffles were pretty good, staff handled the crowd well. Busy spot, but service stayed organized.
