The chicken shawarma was really good&mdash;juicy and packed with flavor. Fries were crispy and properly seasoned, which honestly made the whole thing for me. Took it to go and the packaging kept everything warm and neat. Solid spot if you&#39;re in the mood for a quick bite.

The pasta here is the real deal. I&rsquo;ve had the tagliatelle and the ragu was rich, properly seasoned. Tiramisu was solid too, not too sweet. Been coming since they opened and it&rsquo;s stayed consistent. That&rsquo;s rare for this area. Portions are decent for the price.

We stopped here after a walk through the Mastbos. The terrace is lovely, right at the edge of the forest. I had the grilled fish, which was fresh and cooked simply. The charcuterie board felt a bit basic though. Friendly staff, and they didn&rsquo;t mind our dog. Fine for a casual lunch, nothing fancy.

Location is perfect! Right in the heart of the historical district, three areas: a cozy indoors, patio tables, and a warm glassed-in section with greatviews into the main square of the town. We arrived early, staff was warm &amp; welcoming - we were invited to choose our own table - good thing we were early, by noon all the coveted view tables in the warm glassed-in area were taken. Had the seasonal beer, delicious for those of us who prefer dark. One had the club sandwich, one the stew.  Both were very good. Servers were attentive but thankfully unintrusive. Such a pleasure to enjoy the lively scenes of the main square while having lunch. Payment at the table, reasonable prices for lunch in a restaurant in the historical district. A really nice experience.

The steak sandwich was really good, plenty of flavor and the bread held up nicely. Service felt warm, not rushed. Only thing is the seating area is a bit cramped, hard to get comfortable if you want to linger. Fine for a quick bite though. I&#39;d probably grab takeout next time just to enjoy it at home.
