Stopped in for lunch on a clear day. The view from the window really is something else. Food was top-notch, which just made the whole thing better. A solid spot.

The team here were so nice! They gave us a few tips for the island that we wouldn't have known otherwise. Really made our visit better.

Staff were really friendly and attentive, made us feel welcome. Had a nice chat with the waiter about the specials. Just a solid, comfortable dinner vibe.

Carbonara was very good, pasta cooked perfectly. The portion size felt a bit small for the price, but the flavour was spot on. Service was efficient.

Shaun and Graeme were so nice, really made us feel welcome. Had the fish and chips with a couple of beers - the batter was super crispy! A chill spot for a relaxed dinner.

The team here really stepped up when my friend was struggling with a toothache during his birthday dinner. They were so kind and accommodating, even brought him a softer dessert option. Made a tough situation much better.

The house special was delicious. I also really enjoyed the main dishes we tried. A lovely touch was the complimentary chocolate mint at the end of the meal. It felt like a thoughtful finish. The service was friendly and made the whole experience very relaxed.

The server was so lovely, really attentive without being overbearing. She noticed I was checking the menu for dairy-free options and suggested a couple of dishes right away. Made the whole meal feel relaxed and considered.

The staff here are really on it, even when the place is packed. We were taking ages to decide, and they were so patient with us. Makes a difference.

Really liked the vibe here, perfect for catching up with friends. The seafood chowder was so fresh and tasty. The staff were lovely and it wasn't too loud, so we could actually hear each other talk! 😊

The pizza here is made fresh when you order, so there's a bit of a wait. Totally worth it though. The crust was perfect. We had a great time chatting while it cooked. The old stone building is cool, not too trendy.

Great view of the loch from the upper floor. The curry was well-presented and the service was friendly.

Friendly staff and quick service. The cafe itself is lovely, spotlessly clean - even the restrooms. A very pleasant spot for a quiet coffee.

The fish and chips were spot on, honestly some of the best I've had. The new QR code ordering was handy, though it did feel a bit impersonal. Still, a solid meal.

Birthday dinner here last week. The staff really made an effort, which was lovely. Food was spot on – every dish had great flavour and seasoning. Cocktails were top notch too. A bit of a wait for our mains, but that’s a minor thing.

The pizza was really good, especially the crust. Crispy but still had a nice chew. The fresh mozzarella made it. For the price though, I did expect a slightly bigger portion. Still, it was tasty.

No bookings, so got there at 5 sharp to grab a table. Pepperoni pizza was spot on, tiramisu was good too. Quick service, perfect for a fast bite.

The build-a-burger is a solid choice. The patty was cooked just right, and the brioche bun held up well. Everything came out hot, which is always a plus. A bit on the pricey side for what it is, but you get a decent meal.

Just stumbled upon this place a few minutes from the centre. Loved the local, non-touristy vibe. Perfect for catching up with friends over a few small plates. The grilled halloumi was a highlight. A bit on the pricey side, but the atmosphere made it worth it.

Nice spot on Church Street for watching the world go by. Got a sharing platter outside - loads of interesting cheeses and meats. A bit pricey for what it is, but made for a decent light lunch.

Lovely decor, very relaxing. The samosas were delicious, but the portion was a bit small for the price. The Dhansak was different than I'm used to. The real standout was the Hadhcora veg dish, really unique and tasty.

Been coming here for years. It's always quiet, clean, and I can always find a spot to plug in my laptop. Just a reliable place to get some work done over a coffee.

Great spot for a quiet pint and a game of pool. The barman was lovely, had a good chat with him. Ended up playing a few frames with some regulars for a couple of hours - really friendly crowd. Just a nice, easy place to hang out.

The haggis smash burger is a new favourite for me. It's got a really nice texture and flavour, and the view of the river from the table was a lovely bonus. The staff were also super helpful when I asked about ingredients.

Open all year round, which is handy. It does get busy though, so I'd always book a table in advance. The staff were really friendly and the seats were comfy, which made for a relaxed evening.

Mixed grill was spot on. Tender, juicy, well-seasoned. Portion was just right, actually felt satisfied without that heavy, overstuffed feeling. 👍
